Royal achievers Beatrice and Eugenie celebrate exam success
Princess’ Beatrice, 19, and Eugenie, 17, daughters of Andrew Edward, Duke of York, 47, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, 47, celebrated earning A’s and B’s in their chosen subjects this week.
Beatrice – who has been diagnosed with dyslexia – received an A in drama and a B in both history and film studies. Meanwhile, Eugenie earned an A in art, politics, and history of art, as well as a B in English in her AS levels. Of the girl’s accomplishments, Sarah and Andrew said,
The girls are delighted with their results and we are extremely proud of them.
Beatrice can now count herself as the royal family’s highest exam achiever. She has topped the previous record set by her cousin Prince William, who scored an A in geography, B in history of art and C in biology in 2000.

What pretty girls! I remember when they were just babies. I think, though, if I were a teenager I’d rebel against those coat buttons!

If Beatrice got one A and two Bs, and Eugenie got 3 As and one B, then wouldn’t Eugenie be the highest academic achiever in the royal family?

I can’t imagine having my report card published for everyone to see!!! They made good grades, they should be proud, and I wonder what they’ll do after school? If they’ll go on to more school, study art history, etc.

lonestarwendy – I believe the exams that Beatrice took were at a higher level Eugenie so that is what makes her the highest academic achiever in the royal family. We will have to wait a few years to see how Eugenie does on the higher exam levels to see if she beats her sister.
sarawara – The article at Hello says that Beatrice is going to take a year off before attending university where she will spend time in America and doing a field project in Africa.
Having your grades published for all to see would be a big motivator to study more!

Beatrice’s boyfriend is American. I know Harry spent time in Africa as well. His girlfriend is from South Africa.

What?! The royals aren’t allowed to eat in public, but their grades are not only divulged, but compared and tracked?! Weird. But, good job to the girls in school.
