Confirmed: Monica expecting second child — another boy!
Update: It’s another boy! Monica is due January 28th.
Update August 12th: Sandra Rose confirms the news — Monica is 5 months pregnant, a bit further along than the original rumor mentioned.
Originally posted July 22nd:Young, Black and Fabulous reports that songstress Monica, 26, and her fiance Rodney are expecting their second child. Monica is apparently 3 months along with a sibling for Rodney III, aka ‘Lil Rock’, 2.

that would be great for them if it was true. actually just saw her the other day while at a local concert. she didn’t look pregnant to me, but who knows.

I saw a picture of her performing _ I don’t remember where. But she did look like she had a little belly going on.

Wow, and another one who nearly sneaks another pregnancy past people. Well, good luck to her and Rodney. Maybe it’ll be a girl and she’ll have one of each.

How does a parent tell a child that they were conceived outside of wedlock???? One would think that if he didn’t marry her after her first child, it’s NOT going to occur now. Why should he??? He’s getting ALL the priviledges now, why should he bother to legalize it. Monica really has no class in MY opinion!!

Congratulations to Rodney and Monica. He’ll never want for anything & I’m sure that he has a big brother who can’t wait to meet him. This son will probably look like Monica b/c Li’l Rock 2 is definitely a younger version of his father. So, he definitely got his name honest! I couldn’t believe that Monica was pregnant again and 5 months already. My goddaughter will be born around the same time as Monica’s son. Maybe they’ll meet one day. Who knows???
