Foxy Brown violates probation, sentenced to jail
If Nicole Richie is looking for a sympathetic ear as she prepares for her 4-day stay at the LA County jail, she can find it in Foxy Brown. The rapper was remanded to New York authorities today after a Manhattan judge determined that Foxy violated the terms of her probation for prior assault charges with two incidents in recent weeks. During the hearing, Foxy told the judge that she is indeed 3-months-pregnant and plans to be married in September.
Nicole, who is no stranger to probation, must serve a 96-hour sentence at the Lynwood County Jail in Los Angeles beginning no later than Sept. 28. The Simple Life star, who is currently expecting her first child with fiance Joel Madden, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs in July, and will be on probation for three years as a result of the conviction.

UN-Believable. I just really wish these young women would see how potentially fatal these mistakes are, toward themselves and other drivers. It’s scary.

I wish that I could feel bad for her but I don’t. I work my butt off to make a living to support my family and I am so sick of these overindulged celebrities who have been given a great opportunity to improve their lives and make good in the world. And yet they keep dropping the ball. I am glad that these judges are finally cracking down on their misbehaving and punishing them for their actions. The message that they are not above the law should be sent. Enough of their reckless living!

Sara and Meela you bascially said everything I was thinking, I don’t feel bad for her at all. I do feel bad for her child though, if she continues with her crazy immature behavior.

Personally, I feel sorry for Foxy. I hope that she will at least be given a a few months before she needs to report to jail (like Nicole was) so that she can get married in September as she and her fiancee’ are planning. I also hope that she either will be sentenced to only a few days (like Nicole) or that she won’t have to report to jail until after the birth of the baby. At the very least, I hope that she will be allowed out of jail before the baby’s birth.
I know that what Foxy has done is unnaceptable, and she should definently be held accountable for her actions.
However, at least she is not (at this point, anyway) claiming that she innocent and that she doesn’t deserve this (like Paris Hilton did).
Hopefully she will do what Nicole did and admitt her mistakes and accept her jail sentance.
All of that said, I don’t think that her immature behavior will neccesarily continue. After all, Nicole seems to have cleaned up her act quite a bit since becoming pregnant (and has even made statements about her want and need to do so). Therefore, it’s very possible that Foxy may do the same.

There are plenty of pregnant women in jail.
She will be just another one, with a number and a mug shot. She will even be in with the “special needs” inmates who get extra milk :^) to nourish the baby. She’ll get visitation rights and commissary privileges which she could certainly afford.
Apparently being on probation wasn’t enough for her. Maybe jail is in order here.

This is crazy to me! When people talk about avoiding getting caught driving drunk, I shiver. It’s a completely different mentality I have from when I was young and dumb (which I think is pretty normal to lack judgment.) What I don’t understand is celebrities who aren’t 18 that don’t get that they are putting lives at risk, not just avoiding getting caught…

tmz.com has a statement for Foxy’s manager stating she is NOT pregnant.
I’m just guessing here but she thought she could say she was pregnant and get off easier.
