Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in Paris
Actress Katie Holmes, 28, and daughter Suri Cruise, 16 months, were spotted out in Paris, France on Thursday. They went to the Louvre museum for a quick tour, to Avenue Montaigne, and then made a stop at Fendi and Lanvin. Mother and daughter had lunch at Laduree, between the squares of La Madeleine and Concorde. More available at Public; as well as at x17 Online.

Suri is the cutest celebrity baby out there at the moment. She has the best smile and I love her clothes and her haircut. Her mommy seems to be almost falling out of her dress though.

I’m surprised it was taken on wednesday cause it has been raining so badly the past days and its chilly out there ! Suri is so big, she could have used a stroller for the Louvre

OMG that child is absolutely stunning as is Katie. Suri seems to be a real character, gosh I could look at her face forever.
I just wish Katie would stop trying to emulate Posh, with the overdressing and high shoes and huge bag, she looks so uncomfortable. Katie is stunningly beautiful and would look just as gorgeous in casual appropriate clothes. She doesn’t have to make the same ginormous effort Posh has to make. Posh is has nothing except clothes and accessories while Katie has it all, height, natural beauty, body and the most beautiful smile. I wish someone would tell her !

I don’t think she’s falling out of her dress- look at the last one of those photoes. No, I just think that the paps were being disgusting and thought it was funny to shoot their cameras down Katie’s dress. We’re not THAT interested people!

It’s nice to see some celeb parents allowing their child the freedom of walking … seems most of them carry their children everywhere, regardless of age (Brad and Angie) or stroller their children when they are way too big for a stroller (Ryder)

That little girl looks so much like my parents’ friend’s daughter. She is half Italian half Thai and has as much spunk as Suri. They also have the same haircut!

Lord I love that little girl’s face! She’s so adorable and so animated. You can tell she has quite the personality! She’s such a little firecracker. As tired and hassled as Katie looks she still looks beautiful and happy. I’m not a Tom Cruise fan and I run hot and cold on Katie but they make beautiful babies.

Suri is fiesty and I can predict this child to follow in her mom and dads footsteps as a little actress!
She looks so grown up for 16 months. I would love to see her with her hair pulled back but knowing her I bet she’d just pull it out!

I like their matching smiles in the first two pictures! Looking at these pics with Suri walking while Katie’s hand, I’m just curious if anyone else has had a problem with their toddler’s refusing to hold anyone’s hand while they walk? My niece is 18 months and ever since she started walking she won’t let anyone hold her hand – she will just sit there and refuse to walk if you try. She wants to do it all by herself or not at all so it’s just easier to carry her most of the time! I don’t have any kids of my own so I am just wondering if that’s a common thing. I’ve seen people comment before when there are pics with celebs carrying their toddlers that those kids are old enough to be walking by themselves…but maybe some celeb babies are like my niece and won’t walk holding someone’s hand and it’s too dangerous to let them run off by themselves, so that’s why they are being carried?

how silly you have to be going out with a toddler dressed up like a doll to the louvre wearing a long trenchcoat and not taking a pushchair? really, katie holmes is inoculated against practical thinking. however i still like suri it’s not her fault.

very cute child…however, doesn’t Katie find the heels and cumbersome trenchcoat/dress a little much for chasing after a toddler? She always appears oddly dressed lately. None of my friends who are moms including myself would consider wearing heels with a toddler and shopping to boot!

Suri is one happy child–a stark contrast to Britney’s kids who are rarely seen smiling. Katie seems like a wonderful mom, though I couldn’t wear such high heels while out and about caring for a toddler.

wow-suri is GORGEOUS!!! she is gonna be sooo stunning when she is older! It seems like Katie never dresses down, even when she is just hanging out with suri-i would have such a hard time trying to look all prim and proper while chasing around a lil bundle of energy.

ADORABLE!
she is sooo cute, makes me forget who her father is, I am not a Tom fan but he and Katie are obviously doing a lot right, Suri is sooo happy! Suri is simly adorable. I think its super they let her walk and explore. They seem like amazing parents and Suri seems so attached (in a good way) to her mom – great eye contact etc!

My daughter used to be that exact same way. She would pull her hand away and refuse to hold ours when we walked. She learned quickly though that she had the choice of either holding my hand, or being carried kicking and screaming. She gave in to hand holding pretty fast.

Wow, these pictures are so cute, and Suri is beautiful! Katie, too! I think it’s great that they don’t seem to use a stroller – in my opinion, there’s a time and a place for strollers, but they’re often overused. However, that being said, for us normal people who don’t have bodyguards and chauffeurs to help out if / when they’re needed, using a stroller is probably more of a necessity than it would be for Katie! If Suri melts down or if Katie needs help carrying stuff while she’s out, I’m sure she can rely on all her help to step in, whereas I live in a big city and can’t imagine a big outing without my stroller – more as a safety net. If for nothing else, I use it to push the diaper bag and our lunch around in while my daughter helps me push
) Then if she does get tired, she can climb in when she needs to. I’m also 7 mos. pregnant so I can’t exactly carry a toddler around for long distances, either! Before I was pregnant, I brought a pouch sling along in case of emergency, but I can’t do that now. (Incidentally, I can’t imagine Katie would be walking very far in those heels, anyway… but maybe she’s more used to walking in those than most people!)

what happens when suri starts school? katie either has another kid or goes back into acting? then victoria will be lonely. plenty of time to worry bout that, i guess. suri is very sweet and i agree, she appears much happier than britney’s kids.amazing what a close-knit family can do for a celeb bub.
