Jim Thome to welcome a son in November
Jim Thome of the Chicago White Sox and his wife, Andrea, are expecting their second child, a son, in November. The couple also have a four-year-old daughter, Lila Grace.
The 37-year-old who is on the verge of hitting his 500th home run says that he keeps the baseballs from when he ties another player with the number of home runs.
So then, in 15 or 20 years maybe, my kids can remember, ‘Hey, my dad tied this guy.’

Funny, I’m from Jim Thome’s hometown. He’s a bit of a local celebrity here. My husband has met him, he’s a very nice guy. Congrats to him
