Video of Dannielynn Birkhead celebrating first birthday
This evening, The Insider aired footage of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead’s first birthday party, held on Saturday. What a sweet smile!
When it came time to dress Dannielynn for her first birthday, daddy Larry Birkhead turned to the Naked Baby Boutiquein Studio City, California. He went shopping in the store on September4th, picking up a beautiful Kaiya Eve Ruffle Fluff top ($57) in baby pink, which you can see Dannielynn wearing in the video above.
While shopping in the Naked Baby store, Larry also picked up this adorable outfit from Kumquat that Dannielynn wore during the week of her birthday festivities.

AWWW! She’s gorgeous! That looked like such a fun and sweet occasion. Yes it was a bit over the top, but it was a celebration of the life of a little girl and while she may never remember this day in her mind later on her father can show her the pictures and say “This was such a wonderful day” especially if there’s ever a time when she realizes what her first year of life was really like… what a way to show her how it ended! A new beginning.
She looks so very happy dancing and laughing. What a sweetheart.

That baby is just beautiful, what gorgeous eyes. She used to look just like larry, but now I’m seeing a lot of Anna in her features and expression, her eyes are her dad but her nose and mouth remind me of her mother. Beautiful baby, and she looks like a happy child.

What a beautiful little girl! A law student at the school I work at/go to came into my office and was talking about the party… apparently, his mom is friends with Larry and the party was held at his mother’s house in Louisville where he grew up. He seemed a little embarassed by the whole thing.

Leave this poor child alone! I honestly was happy when Larry got Dannielynn, but now I fear that he is just using her to enjoy his own 15 minutes of fame. This is nothing but exploitation!!! Makes me sick.

I think Larry is just happy to have a beautiful daughter and this is his way of expressing his love and happiness for his child. I don’t think anybody knows how he feels about her, or what his intentions are for having a huge birthday party for his little girl, so I don’t think anybody should be judging him. He is a very proud father, and also a 1st time father, every parent is different and if this is how he wants it, then let him have it. She is a gorgeous girl and she is lucky to have a father that loves her as much as he does.

I say why not have a huge party after such a dark period im sure everyone involved is just happy to have something to celebrate. The look on her face when barney came in was priceless…

Aw, she looks so happy! Some babies that age would be crying and scared to death with a big party like that but she seems to be having a great time! I agree with Gabriella…I used to see all Larry, even before it was proved her was Dannielynn’s dad there was really no doubt in my mind from looking at her. But I am starting to see more Anna too. She is precious!

She looks adorable in her little outfit. The entire extravaganza for her birthday party was a bit much but Larry has been hyping it months prior. Can’t say I’m surprised, even though I know she’s not going to remember any of it.

Annie, I’m kind of surprised that he would seem embarrassed by his mother’s goodwill. He attends the Galas regularly for the Derby and other events and is a large part of his family’s Diabetes fundraising. (I guess people who don’t live in Kentucky don’t know who she is, but the family has raised millions of dollars in Diabetes research). He should be proud of his mom and his family!
Kentucky is Larry’s home state and he met Anna at the Barnstable Derby Gala. I’m sure for him it was a sort of coming full circle. And again, it may have been extravagant, but how often do we take our children to events at a young age that they won’t even remember? We make a big deal out of their first birthdays and their first holdiays more for ourselves and I think Larry deserves to celebrate!

I agree, let him throw her a big party. He wasn’t there for her birth & wasn’t there for the first few months, why not let him celebrate his daughter’s 1st birthday. As long as she was happy & she seemed to be, that’s all that matters. She looked adorable & I agree, she has beautiful eyes. She’s so precious & Larry is a proud happy papa!

Dannielyn is one gorgeous little girl–she’s so freakin adorable–those big blue eyes are just mesmerizing…and honestly while it may be a bit much, after what he’s been through, he’s allowed to celebrate and whether Dannielyn remembers it or not, Larry will haveg the memories and things to show her and this is as much a celebration for him as it is for her–after all they’ve been through…
So it’s a little over the top, it’s not hurin anyone, least of all Dannielyn…people act as though he’s selling her into child servitude or something…it’s a bday party–a little over the top maybe but it’s fun and games so who cares…and honestly Dannielyn seemed to really enjoy herself and that’s all that matters…I think Anna would be proud…
Dannielyn is beautiful and i hope that she has the life she deserves…no matter how you feel about this, there is no doubt her daddy loves her–hopefully she will have the kind of life her mother never did…HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNIELYN

I think the party was great and Dannielynn looked so happy!!! wow a real Barney! that’s fun!!!
I don’t think it’s wrong to have a big party for a one year old, if you have the money to do it, why not? I know lot’s of people (not celebrities) that made a big big party for their 1 yr old kids and was fun, I guess if i had the money I will do it too
