Update: Rep for Casey Affleck confirms Summer Phoenix’s pregnancy; expecting second son
Update: Casey and Summer are expecting another boy, USA Today reports. The paper caught up with Casey at the Toronto Film Festival, where he revealed the news.
Originally posted Sept. 8: A rep for Casey Affleck confirmed news that the actor, 32, and his wife, actress Summer Phoenix, 28, are expecting their second child. Spokeswoman Rebecca Feferman said the child is due this winter, but declined to give any other details.
They’re very happy and excited about the new addition to their family.
Although the couple previously remained tight-lipped about the pregnancy, they turned up at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of Casey’s new film The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford on September 2nd looking visibly pregnant.
Casey and Summer also have also have a three year old son, Indiana August.

Yea they didn’t need to confirm it, she defintley looked pregnant lol. cute family.

I knew he was having anther boy. And whenever ben and jen have anther child, I think they will have anther girl. Just feeling I have.

Gabriella, great minds think alike, I was just about to post who wants to bet that Casey and Summer have a all boys and Ben and Jen have a houseful of girls…lol I can just see it now…they’ll have to swap in order to experience the other…haha I love this extended family…both so normal and down to earth…can’t wait to meet the newest Affleck and see if he looks like big brother or maybe like cousin Violet!
