Jim Thome’s daughter is dad’s biggest fan
Chicago White Sox player Jim Thome doesn’t have to look very far for his biggest fan. It is his four-year-old daughter Lila Grace.
The 37-year-old baseball player is on the verge of hitting the 500th home run record and on August 28th his daughter was watching a little of her dad’s baseball game from home before she had to go to bed. In the third inning, Jim hit a home run that caused Lila to call and leave a voicemail message for her dad. Jim’s wife, Andrea, recalls,
She said, ‘Daddy, I saw you hit the knock. Six more to go, big guy.’ He’ll save that message until she’s 12. His wholefamily is so supportive of him.
Jim and Andrea are currently expecting their second child, a son, in November.

My husband and I have been Thome fans since his days with the Indian’s. He’s a super guy. Very down-to-earth. His little girl’s message-to-daddy was adorable. A keeper.
