It’s a boy for Green Bay Packers Nick Collins
Green Bay Packers free safety Nick Collins missed practice on Wednesday, September 12 for a very good reason — the birth of his son. The 24-year-old received a call at 5 a.m. stating that his wife, Andrea, had gone into labor and nearly 12 hours later, little Nicholas Cardell Collins Jr. arrived at 4:39 p.m. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Nick, who has a daughter, Jenajah, 3, from a previous relationship stated,
It was a very long day, but an exciting day.
Mother and son are slated to come home from the hospital today.
