Zoe Kravitz on acting, college, and her new baby sister
The Brave One star Zoe Kravitz, 18, daughter of Lisa Bonet, 39, and Lenny Kravitz, 43, attends SUNY at Purchase, but has also begun acting on the side. Playing a prostitute whom Jodie Foster’s character saves in her new film, Zoe says that,
"I like to do good work. I like to do work that inspires people, and Ilike to create things. [My parents told me to] do the best job [I] can, and protect [my] heart."
Having spent most of the summer in Los Angeles with her mom, awaiting the birth of her new baby sister, Lola Iolani, who arrived on July 21st, moving to New York for college has been quite the change.
"[Lola is] amazing! I’ve heard that I have two other siblings that I don’t knowabout, but this is her only other child. She’s lovely. She’s in L.A.and I’m in school, but I was just there for the summer. I wasbabysitting and changing diapers.
I just moved into my dorm, which is crazy. It’s like ‘this big’ and Ihave my bed and my desk. I have a single. I got really lucky, but it’sso small. You win some, you lose some."

I’m impressed Lenny & Lisa didn’t rent her an apartment! Living in a dorm will be good for Zoe.

Zoe sounds like a nice girl, and the movie she is starring in is good I heard. So I guess she cleared up our questions, Lisa only now has 2 children, not 3 like was often said.

Cute interview! Zoe sounds like a capable young woman and that she has a head on her shoulders. Her comments about college and her dorm room are cute too, especially coming from a celebrity’s child. It’s good though that she’s actually in a dorm room like any other SUNY student, and not in a private apartment or something so far, so that she’ll be able to sympathize with her peers.
If nothing else, Bill Cosby will be proud to learn that Lisa sent her daughter (who was born during her run on the 80s sitcom) to college, although he probably would’ve preferred she’d sent Zoe to Temple U., or whatever. lol!

I’m kinda confused about the living situation. Do Lola and Lisa live in LA without Jason? Cause I know Jason lives in Vancouver, that’s where they film Stargate: Atlantis.
