Thalía to hold virtual baby shower beginning tomorrow–benefits March of Dimes
Songstress Thalía, 36, who is expecting her first child, a daughter, with husband Tommy Mottola, 58, around October 2, has been the recipient of many baby showers in the later months of her pregnancy and one more is planned for tomorrow, September 19th. The online shower, which will benefit the March of Dimes, will take place at AOL Latino.
Thalía, a spokesperson for the national voluntary health agency since 2005, stands behind their mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
She is asking her fans to donate to March of Dimes instead of purchasing gifts for her and her little girl. Thalía said,
Thebest gift you can give a baby is a full nine months of pregnancy. In giving to the March of Dimes, myfans can help support vital research and programs to help babies andtheir families.
