I can’t BELIEVE that some of you are mothers. To sit there and judge someone you don’t even know because of pictures and videos from tabloids is just ignorant, mean and stupid. Criticizing everything from her hair to Sean’s hair to the fact that she took her son shopping… are you people for real??? Sounds to me that most of you are either jealous of Britney or trying to make yourself feel better about your own parenting issues.

Hilary moved to Hollywood and began acting on TV and in movies at 16 after dropping out of high school, and Fantasia was 20 when she competed on “American Idol”-three years older than Britney was when she became a star-and had dropped out of school, was illiterate, and had a child.

Regardless of the fact that neither woman became famous until they were adults (still young adults who easily could have let their fame get the best of them), I was responding to your question of how one can expect a near illiterate person (aka high school dropout) to act like an educated one. Hilary dropped out of school and you’d have no idea listening to her speak. Fantasia sure as heck didn’t have things handed to her and can barely read and write, and she turned out alright regardless.

And as others have already mentioned, there are plenty of child stars who had to tread through rough waters and chose to carve out better lives for themselves than the ones they were handed as well as those who simply have their priorities in check and refuse to give in to the pitfalls of fame. For every Britney and Paris there’s a Mandy Moore and a Natalie Portman. So this “poor little Britney” argument has zero credibility with me. Like PSB, it never ceases to amaze me that there are people who still, after everything she’s done, so ferverently defend her. The ball’s been in her court for some time now, and all she’s done it bat it around and abuse it. It is beyond me how anyone can defend such behavior.

My opinion on Britney is that it seems very clearly that at least for the time being while she is getting her act together the children should with their dad. A lot of people are letting their dislike of Kevin cloud their judgment in terms of Britney’s parenting. Britney obviously needs help; For all we know she could be under the influence that moment. After all the judge did find she uses controlled substances on a frequent basis. In her state Britney could not get a job at a day care center and if she had one she would be fired. Everyone who is defending Britney ask yourself this question: Would you place your child in the custody of a woman a judge has recently found to be abusing controlled substances on an habitual basis.
This cute picture of SPF and BS does not take away from the fact that she has a substance abuse problem and is need of parenting classes/counseling badly. Hopefully she’ll shape up and become the great mother I’m sure she desires to be.

PSB: It sounds like you know Britney really well. How do you know all these things about her? Do you know her personally?
Or do you just think you know her from reading the tabloids? Don’t believe everything you read in the tabloids, sweetheart.

If she doesn’t bring her sons with her, people will call her a bad mom, because she doesn’t spend time with her sons. But if she DOES bring them, that’s wrong, too. People will always find something WRONG about the things she do. I don’t get this constant hate on her. You don’t know anything about her. You only know what the tabloids tell you, so if I were you I would chill. How about spending time with YOUR family instead of sitting here judging strangers?

These comments are really pathetic!! Not respectful and very insulting . What about the comment policy?

In the debate of Britney going out around the paparazzi, keep in mind who the culprit is – the paps. Unless she called them to come snap pics of her, they are to blame.

I ‘m not defending her other choices, I’m only saying Britney’s not the one up in a stranger’s face taking pictures. And with keeping that in mind, do none of you take your children with you when you go shopping? It doesn’t matter that you’re not famous and she is.

Sean P and Jayden are some of the cutest kids I have ever seen, and their mother is beautiful.
I feel so sorry for her having to be in the spotlight and being criticized for everything she does.
People have made the same mistakes as she has (including other celebrities) but they don’t get criticized for it like she does.
Nobody’s perfect and that goes for celebrities as well.
You can tell she really loves her kids, and so what if she goes out partying after they go to bed she knows that they are in the safe care of someone else, I know tons of mothers who do that.
She clearly needs some counseling though, she’s had to live most of her life in the spotlight and that can take a toll on people, she has two young boys who are so close together that it can become stressful especially for a single mother, she has an ex who just uses her for her money and so called friends who also use her.
What would you do if you were in the same position as her??
Maybe you would do some things different but you will never know until you’ve been through what she has.
