Josh Kelley discusses marriage and babies
Singer Josh Kelley opened up about his engagement to Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, saying he’s ready to settle down and start a family.
I always thought I’d be scared, but I’m ready. I’m 27, and I feel I’ve done more than most people will do in a lifetime. I’m ready to settle down, start a family and build my Kelley empire.
Josh and Emmy-winner Katherine, 28, got engaged last year, but haven’t set a date for the wedding yet. They have, however, talked baby names for their future kiddos, although Josh claims they haven’t really decided when to have them.
We haven’t talked about it. We throw around names, but it’s just for fun.
Josh said he’s currently working on the follow up to his last disc, Just Say the Word. The new album is titled Special Company, but doesn’t have a release date yet.

Katherine has actually said they are getting married in December…during the two weeks she has off from GA…I am very happy for them and no doubt they will have beautiful babies one day =))

Yup…on the Red carpet at the Emmys she said she’d get married December 23rd. Maybe he just didn’t want to say anything.
She also said that after doing “Knocked-Up” she never wanted to give birth. I hope she was joking, because obviously Josh has kids in mind in the future…

Aww I wish them all the best! For some reason though, and I’m really not sure if I’m remembering this correctly, but didn’t Katherine say at one point that she wasn’t sure if she wanted children (or she was leaning more towards adoption) I’m a mommy to a five month old so my memory is questionable, but I could have sworn I read something along those lines here awhile back when ‘Knocked Up’ was in theaters.

Lilliness – I thought I heard that as well. Something that after being a part of Knocked-Up and everything, birth freaks her out? I don’t know. Maybe she was joking. I’d love to see her and Josh have some babies!

I remember the same comments after she filmed Knocked Up. That may have just been a reaction to the role. Of course being ready to settle down and start a family can also mean adoption too. It’s all the same thing in the end.

She’s said that they’ll be getting married on her winter break from “Grey’s”. Also, she did say she didn’t want to give birth, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want a family. I hope I live to see the day when people can see that adopted and biological children are CHILDREN just the same!

Well I’m glad I’m not the only one who remembers, lol. I wasn’t trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything…just trying to make sure the cheese wasn’t sliding off my cracker (as it tends to do sometimes, lol)
