Daisy is a beautiful girl, but to say she’s “lucky” to have round eyes…I know you probably don’t mean it the way it sounds…but it’s a bit offensive to East Asian people, as a large percentage doesn’t have “round eyes”, and this should not be considered an “unlucky” trait. I myself is of similar background as Daisy, Chinese. I also have round eyes, from earliest childhood memories, people have pointed that out, mostly relatives and asian people, some complimenting, others not so. I have often been mistaken for being Eurasian, or Hawaiian. I am flattered to look like people of other cultures and whatnot, but do not consider myself lucky in comparison to anyone else. Sorry to sound a bit harsh about your comment, but just wanted to point out how such a comment could be offensive to others.

I agree with Mei, what a strange comment about round eyes. I’m sure (hope?) you meant she was lucky to have such big, expressive eyes, and it just came out wrong? Daisy is a gorgeous little girl from eyes to feet.

I believe she’s in Boston filming “The Women”. This may be unrelated, but when I hear comments from Jennifer Garner about how she chooses to stay with Violet instead of making films, I wonder about the other actresses, like Meg Ryan, who put in long hours making movies, and what their children are doing during that time.
Good to know Meg has her in town with her – maybe even on set?

She’s got so tall! She’s gonna be a beaut.

Sorry Anna, but I really do not believe Jen Garner. She will work and does work with Violet. Being a stay at home mome is not better for a child than a working outside-the-home mother! And it’s relatively easy for actresses and their kids: it may be long days but the kids stay with them on the set and it’s only a few weeks or months per year.
In short: imho there is nothing wrong with working mothers! Doesnt matter if they are celebs or not.
