They both need some shorts to cover up those saggy diapers!

Change those babies diapers!! Wonder how he would like it if he had to walk around like that!!
September 26th, 2007 at 2:52 pm
i love the little BOY pushing a toy stroller.
September 26th, 2007 at 2:54 pm
So were they spotted in a trailer park? New playmates for Sean Preston and Jayden!
September 26th, 2007 at 3:04 pm
Dang! Those diapers DO need to be changed!! And why aren’t they wearing any pants?
Cute though, that he’s pushing the same little Graco sroller that my daughter has! She loves it too

Wow, those kids need a diaper change and some shorts!
September 26th, 2007 at 4:04 pm
Geez, it’s a shame that he thinks it’s ok to let his kids look dishelved and sloppy just because he chooses to look that way himself. I just find it sad!
Sarah’s note: He usually is very neatly dressed (that I have seen), I think the beard just throws people off, IMO.

oh my god,is there nothing than clothes, style and so in your heads?
These boys are so sweet!
They wear not bleached nappies, much better for the skin than pampers!
And its hot in Israel, the kids don´t need shorts!

aggh….It drives me nuts when people take thier children out in public in diapers…it looks like trailer trash…hello…diapers are like underwear…do you go out in your underwear?
September 26th, 2007 at 4:28 pm
wow when I saw that picture I thought Matisyahu was like 50! How about shaving once in a while!? Cute kids thought, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them not wearing pants.
Sarah’s note: He’s a Hasidic Jew, which explains the beard.

Cute boys! I don’t see what the big deal is about them not wearing shorts or pants, it looks like they are just out for a little walk around where they live/stay.

It’s probably hot where they are. I don’t even know who this guy is, but the judgemental nature of the posts on this site can really get to me. For all we know he changed the older boy’s diaper two minutes after that shot was taken. Children are active, they get messy and saggy and sometimes clothing them is an all-out wrestling match.
I know this site is just for fun, but you are judging people’s lives with very little evidence. I really think we need to keep that in mind a little more than we do.

I think that people are going a little harsh on the diaper thing…yes they need a change, BUT just because people are celebrity’s doesnt make them PERFECT I mean come on..hes alone with the kids..and hes a dad! give the poor guy a break..lol Im sure we’ve all had husbands who are like this! geeze chillax ladies…lol

im in Australia so this would draw attention down here too, but its ISRAEL, not downtown denver. if u saw a goat walking down sunset bvld u would go WTF?! but in many parts of Asia, it’s the norm. many parts of the world children run around with little to no clothes on. open ur minds a bit, ppl!
September 26th, 2007 at 6:46 pm
Jeeze, I agree with a few of you, some of the comments on here really get to me. I mean I agree with some of the nagging posts and complaints that people have, but gosh, like you all have never let a diaper changing go a little too long…come on…
And the comments about his kids not wearing shorts, he’s in Israel! It’s hot! And he’s not sloppy,he’s out walking with his kids. I’m sure if someone snapped a shot of you on a hot summers day your kids would be running around shirtless (or pantless) and you wouldn’t look so hot yourselves.
Oh and FYI he’s a Hasidic Jew, which is why he has a beard….

I agree Meghan. When I saw all the comments to this post I was thinking “They are complaining about the boys just wearing diapers” and here it was.
September 26th, 2007 at 7:35 pm
Those poor boys need a clean diaper. *sigh*
September 26th, 2007 at 8:27 pm
Change the nappies! Those poor kids!
September 26th, 2007 at 10:07 pm
I agree 100% with you, meghan

Yea I agree also. It’s much more humid in Israel than here in the U.S, plus it’ normal there and in other parts of the world where little ones don’t go without shorts or sometimes no clothes at all. I seen it before when I visited Asia. It’s just the way it is up there, so I don’t know why some of you guys are overreacting. Plus I don’t think the boys need a diaper change even though it looks like it does. It’s a nappy they are wearing, so it’s a bit different from a diaper structure wise I think. Right? I’m not sure of the difference between nappy and diaper. If anyone knows, can you explain??

I agree w/ you 100% Meghan.
Coming back to this, I love that he obviously knows he’s being photographed but doesn’t make a big deal about it in front of his kids. Obviously he’s not of the Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt or Reese & Ryan stature as far as fame goes, but he knows they are there and he just plays nice and doesn’t let them bother his time with his kids. He’s in Israel, so you can’t really argue that’s he’s looking to be photographed, and from everything I’ve read, he’s a really private person. He’s just a typical dad hanging out with his two kids, I don’t see why there should be any armchair judgment thrown at him from anyone.

Nappy is just the UK English word for diaper so no structural difference at all – exactly the same thing

His children are beautiful!
I absolutely adore his music, very talented singer! I’d advise people to check out one of his songs ‘King Without A Crown’ you can learn alot from it!

They are so sweet. I love his little stroller. My older boy always loved pushing them around and my younger boy still does.
Susan, thanks for the natural diaper comment. Now the diaper color makes sense.

I thought they looked like cloth diapers (kind of looks like a snap on the youngest’s diaper in the second picture, near Matisyahu’s hand.) Sometimes prefolds with a cover over them give the illusion of needing a change right after you put them on because they can bunch in the middle.
September 27th, 2007 at 2:43 pm
I know he’s jewish, but seriously he looks as if he were 50:s
September 27th, 2007 at 11:08 pm
His children are gorgeous! Laivy has such blonde hair , just like my son does. I forget his youngest son’s name. Matisyahu is a Hasidic Jew, so the beard stays. the youngest looks lot like his dad…CUTE! The man is a loving dad and is quite a private person so it is nice to see him out with is kids. Also it is quite hot in Israel and I would probably be relaxed in my dress sense too.
He is also a damn talented singer!! Blessings to you Matisyahu!

Yeah, what’s the name of the younger son?
)
They look soooo cute, all the 3 of them!
