Featured Review: Zooniwear Hats – Celebrate Childhood

Have you heard of Zooni Hats? Their slogan is "Celebrate Childhood" and these hats do!!! These are definitely not like the hats you’ll find in your local baby store or mall.  Very creative – these cool hats will definitely be talked about when you take your little one outside (as well as keeping them warm)!

We checked out their Mop Top Collection’s Kate’s Moss Hat – hysterical name for a cute hat. Ben loved trying it on, but it was a little too small (because I had asked for a baby size!). His future sibling, arriving in January, will wear it! Also check out their Puppy Love ($36),

Owner Michelle Jeong told me via email, "My sister and Zooni partner, Melissa, is the creative genius behind the designs. She was having fun and created our first hat (the Kate’s Moss). Anytime we were out in public, the feedback was AMAZING!  Melissa and I were tired of the traditional pink designs and wanted something that was functional, yet stood out in the crowd! A good thing too – since we soon found out that there aren’t a whole lot of cool things for boys and many of our designs can be easily worn on boys (e.g. puppy, lion, bluegrass, hipster, etc)."

Michelle also goes on to say, "We spent 8-10 months custom designing the yarns since we were concerned about quality and thus needed to create a yarn from scratch."

Brooke Shields just sent Michelle a thank you note for hats for both of her girls.
