Mark Wahlberg makes family his priority
Actor Mark Wahlberg, 36, told reporters last night that he plans to make his family his priority. He and girlfriend Rhea Durham, 29, have daughter Ella Rae, 4, and son Michael, 18 months.
I’ve been really focused on me for quite sometime [but my children] are definitely the priority now. I figure I got a few more years to work really hard and then, you know, if I can make a movie every year and a half or something then that would be nice.
The realization of how hard he works came to Mark when he was busy with The Departed, the movie that earned him an Oscar nomination.
It was at a really tough time. I was about to have my second child. I had left shortly after my first child was born to work and that was a very difficult experience.
Mark is currently shooting M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening.

I like Mark but I am the only one who thinks “making family a priority” should include marrying your children’s mother?
