I just adore Tracey Gold. What is she up to these days? Congrats to her.

didn’t she get in an accident while driving drunk with her husband and children in the car?

I am absolutely THRILLED for her and Roby! What a blessing! Congrats to them and their boys!

How exciting for Tracey and her husband. And another boy! I remember her so well from back in the day and always like to hear or see current glimpses about her life. I wish the family well.

another boy! Wonder if she was hoping for a girl. Congrats!!

abrown, yes she did. I remeber it because it was right down the street from me! I never heard what happened with it, if she was charged or not. I havent heard much about her since then.

Congrats to them!
abrown…She admitted that she and her husband were at a friend’s house for a cookout and both had some drinks. She said that she had a few drinks over the few hours they were there. Her husband was supposed to drive, so she had a few more than she should have. When it was time to leave, her husband was drunk and so she decided to drive home. She thought that enough time had passed since the last time she had a drink. She made a horrible judgment call that could have cost some lives. I am not condoning her or her actions, just restating what she herself said happened.

I believe she got probation, and maybe had to take classes or something. As Dana said, Tracey said that she thought she was ok to drive, and apparently she was not. A perfect example of why “when in doubt” you just shouldn’t drive.

she ended up pleading guilty to a felony and was sentenced to one month in a work release program, community service and 3 years probation…

WOW another boy!! Congrats to the couple and the big brothers. I think after 3 boys I’d be content to not try for a fourth boy!! lol

I’m confused. Tracey was pregnant
during her Diane Sawyer interview to promote Room To Grow. I remember E! and other media
reporting later that she gave birth to a baby girl named
Kailey Lynn Marshall Gold.
What happened to that kid ?

People.com is reporting she is 3 months pregnant. If that is correct, I would assume she had an amnio or CVS; otherwise, it would be too early to tell from an ultrasound.

Thats wonderful news! Another boy, thats great, she picks the best names for her sons.

Yay. Congrats to Tracey! I absolutely loved Growing Pains and I loved her character, probably because her relationship to Mike was exactly like my relationship to my brother is! Haha.

Congrats to them!! I just love her and how she is so upfront and speaks out about issues many others skirt around. She was on Oprah not long ago talking about her accident. From what she said, she had a few glasses of wine at a cookout (as others mentioned) and drove since her husband was drunk. I remember her saying that the accident wasn’t necessarily caused from having that wine, but because it was still in her system she was charged with driving drunk. Probably something most of us have done once or twice, had a glass or two of wine with dinner and drove home. I know after listening to her story I have definitely thought twice about that!
Anyways, congrats to the beautiful family!

I remember Tracey on growing pains, congrats to her, I loved that show. She had aneroxia years ago, she has come a long way, and been belessed with children. Wow anther boy, I remember seeing her pregnant on that talk show soaptalk with her 3rd child and she said she would like a girl. They probably tired a 4th time for a girl. I tend to notice though people usually repeat a sex , like quite a few of people I know once they have like 3 girls or 3 boys in a row, tend to have the same sex again. Tracey’s husband is one of 3 boys too, so boys run in his family.

Tracey Gold lives in my hometown (Santa Clarita, CA). I think she’s just an average soccer mom around here (there are lots!). =) I saw her at the UPS store once. She’s going to be extra busy with 4 boys!

MissAllisonJenny- gianna (5 posts below yours) mentioned that she remembers seeing Tracey on a talkshow (SoapTalk) when she was pregnant with her THIRD child. I’m guessing that that talkshow appearence is what you are recalling.
If that is indeed the case, the reports about her giving birth to a girl were probably yet another case of the media being wrong on a celeb baby’s gender (they do it all the time…mostly with pregnant celebs, but it’s not uncommon for them to give the wrong gender and birth details for recently born celeb babies either). I am not positive about this, but I think that E! Online is bsaically an Internet version of a tabloid.

Good for her – I’m happy for them. I have four boys ages 11-17 and let me tell you -it’s A LOT of work! Congratulations and good luck

Legemc: She no doubt did have an amniocentesis. She is 38 years old. It is not unusual at all for women over 35 to have them.
Congratulations to Tracey and Roby!

Maybe they had the girl name Kailey picked out when they had their son Bailey I can’t imagine they would have a Bailey and a Kailey right in a row……..well some people name their children a little too close, but Tracey doesn’t seem that type.
Congrats to her at any rate!!!

Wow, this is a banner year for celebrity pregnancies. Melissa Joan Hart, Cristina A, Nichole R, Halle, JLO, Nancy Grace and now a 4th for Tracy, not to mention all the new arrivals like River, Henry and Ruby. I still feel there will be a few exciting more discoveries (and announcements to come before the year is over with.)

Given her age she probably had a CVS or amnio, but she could have also found out the sex of the baby at an ultrasound. I found out at my 12-week ultrasound that I was having a girl!
October 6th, 2007 at 5:58 pm
Great for Tracy! Too bad it’s not a girl but a blessing none the less.
October 8th, 2007 at 6:52 am
Roby comes from a family of three or four boys too, so HE KNOWS BOYS! I am sure they would have loved a girl, but every boy is different, too.

She is one of my favorite actresses. I am so excited for her, she deserves it. I also love her sons names. I can’t wait to hear what she names this little guy.

my husband is one of 3 boys and when they were all teenagers my MIL went through 5 gallons of milk a week!

I was surprised to hear she was having a fourth baby and only found out now that it’s a boy.
Here’s the names/birthdays of the other three.
Sage Gold Marshall (b. February 16, 1997), Bailey Vincent (b. March 4, 1999) and Aiden Michael (b. May 9, 2004).
