"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Keith Allen admits using daughter Lily to sell drugs

Tags: Dads

Welsh actor and comedian Keith Allen recently admitted using his daughter, Lily Allen, to help him sell drugs when she was a child. Keith, 54, said he took Lily along with him to the Glastonbury Music Festival years ago, and used her to help him entice festival-goers to buy drugs from him.

I didn’t see what was wrong with taking little Lily along with me as a sales tool rather like the homeless lads do with dogs. Cute puppy guarantees punters will stop and stroke it and therefore give you money.

Lil’ sat next to the stall gurgling in a pushchair while I cranked up the sales patter and knocked out the lager.

Lily, 22, achieved celebrity status in her own right; her 2006 debut album, Alright, Still, was nominated for a Brit Award, and spun off multiple hit singles.

Wow….just wow. How incredibly irresponsible. Couldn’t he have had her taken away if social services had found out?

  2. Principesa Says:

    Disturbing.

Clearly, not his finest moment as a parent.

  3. sil Says:

ok…i’m not sure if i read ok…or if he was joking, because I hope so!….i don’t know what to say…a father that uses his daughter to sell drugs? and he tells that in an interview! wow…

  4. Alicia A. Says:

Wow, that just made me throw up a little bit.

  5. J Says:

Wow. What a lovely little family they have there. :/

  6. Isabel Says:

Can someone translate this; I honestly don’t really understand it. Lilly sat in a wheelchair, gurgling; while he got the drugs together. Is that right? How does that help him sell drugs?

  8. Ivey Says:

I don’t know who this is, but its hard not to post something negative here.

Thanks for posting the fact that there are loser celebrity fathers……..I mean really what are you supposed to say?

  9. Tracy Says:

    Jennifer,

My guess is that she was in a stroller, not a wheelchair, just making little baby/child noises. I could be wrong, but it said he took her when she was a child.

    That’s pretty insane! Poor girl…

  10. Jeanne Says:

I believe that means that she would sit in a stroller gurgling, like babies do, and that she was cute and would attract customers. Much like how guys use cute puppies to pick up women in a park, he was using a cute baby to attract customers to sell his drugs. It certainly does explain in part why she is the way she is.

  11. Campbell Says:

yea, i want other durg addicts “stroking” my baby….. not sure i’d have shared this little gem of a story… WTH!!

  12. Charity Says:

That’s despicable. I can’t believe he admitted this in an interview.

  13. lulululu Says:

I believe strollers are called pushchairs in England.

What an icky man. Is he confessing to it now as part of his recovery? Or is he proud of it and is exploiting his daughter’s fame? Maybe I don’t want to know.

  14. Jennifer Says:

Ok, thank everyone for explain that to me. I never thought that a pushchair could mean stroller. I was thinking that he had her pretend that she was handicapped.

    I understand now. :)

  15. clair Says:

yes we call strollers pushchairs, prams or buggy’s in England, so he’s referring to a stroller.
