Halle Berry on her baby’s sex and relationships
Halle Berry, 41, is sticking to her word about not finding out the sex of the baby that she is currently expecting this winter with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. In an interview with Meredith Vieira of the Today show, the actress said,
We’re going to wait. There’s not many surprises in life, so let’s make this as big as it can be.
Since becoming pregnant with their first child, both Halle and Gabriel are preparing for the changes that will take place in their lives.
We walk differently, we think differently. I know it’s going to change our lives and we both know that. We’re preparing in every way. Nothing is important anymore but this little baby that’s inside of here. All the little mundane things that we worry ourselves with just — pfft — go out the window.
Halle, who has been married twice before, states that she and Gabriel will most likely not marry and that they are defining their own relationship.
We’re committed and we’re family people. We just want to redefine it. I’ve done it twice that way. I’m learning from my mistakes and I want to do it differently this time. I think it will probably last a long, long time, because we’re doing it differently.

Not to be rude.. I am very happy that she is pregnant. I know my biggest fear was never being able to have children.. so I know where she is coming from.
But seriously, I’m so tired of hearing about her pregnancy ALREADY. She’s acting like she’s the first woman to ever get pregnant.. talking to every single media outlet available. I can understand that she’s happy, but really, women have been having babies for thousands of years. She’s not the first!!
CBB note: She’s doing a press tour for her new movie, hence the number of interviews and quotes coming from them, as everyone is asking her about the pregnancy. It’ll die down in a few weeks.

Me-
Why can’t you just ignored her? it’s not hard.

Shantale, it’s a little hard when there is sooooo much press coverage about her. But thank you, Sarah, for clarifying it for me. Good to know that she’s talking to the press for other reasons besides her pregnancy.

If she wants to talk about her pregnancy 24/7 she has earned that right. Sure women have been having babies since the beginning of time but at her age, it’s difficult to get pregnant. Also, she is really happy to finally be pregnant and I think that’s beautiful.

This is probably one of the reasons some celebs opt to not announce pregnancies. The media will ask about it to no end! Halley really couldn’t avoid it because she is on a media tour and would have been growing and growing!
If your don’t want to hear about celeb pregnancies, then don’t visit site like these. There is plenty of other things going on out there on the web!

Are you folks kidding me??? bitch if… bitch if not…. cripes! I could name a starlet for either arguement…. unbelievable.. go to another site. period.

Wow Me, you certainly struck a nerve..lol! I have to agree though, but it’ll die down soon.
It is funny here with people, people get upset when you WANT to know more about a celeb’s pregnancy, or they get upset when not enough is said about a celeb’s pregnancy.
CBB does what they can to keep us in the know for either side of the spectrum people, be happy!

If you’re so sick of hearing about it, why are you visiting this site? Also, she may not be the first woman to ever give birth, but it is her first time being pregnant. It’s not like she’s given birth many times before so it’s a very special thing.

She has been talking abnout her pregnancy because she is promoting her new movie, and every talk show asks her same questions about the baby and pregnancy. It doesn’t bother me, she seems super excited and I wish her all the best.

She seems like such a geniune person and she seems like she’s truly the happiest she’s ever been, so I’m so happy for them! And I’m happy to see someone defining commitment outside the box of marriage. More power to them!!!

IMO, I am thrilled to hear about her pregnancy, maybe finally a celeb has figured it out, we don’t want to bug them, we just want to share in their happy news! Hint to JLO!

Actually, Morgan, I do enjoy hearing about celebrity pregnancies.. although I do think the coverage with Halle is just a wee bit too much. Each publication has pretty much the same information on it.. it’s beating a dead horse! I am all for hearing something new about anyone’s pregnancy, even hers, but come on.. there’s only so many times you can hear something before it starts to get old! Simple as that!

I agree with you Me, and people need to calm down…..everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It is nice that she is preggers and hope the baby is healthy and blah, blah, blah. She really annoys me though and I am also sick of hearing about her pregnancy and how she is trying to redefine marriage or whatever, but if she is so in love and knows this the right person, why is she so scared to get married, I find it a bit odd. Oh well, that’s her life though and if that makes her happy so be it, but I bet her boyfriend will leave her @ss not too long after that baby is born, she’s a douche magnet.

I recently had a conversion with my good friend about pregnancy and aging. It’s amazing that when you’re in twenties you take for guaranteed that you have so much time to have a children. But as you enter your thirties you realize that time is slipping away so fast and before you know it you are forced to either have children or not. So to be 41 and still be able to conceive should be celebrated. So as far as I’m concerned she can talk about it every single day for the next 5 months and I would wish her nothing but a healthy baby. Don’t fault the woman for rejoicing.

Me, it sounds like maybe you are reading too many celebrity media. It’s not Halle’s fault so you shouldn’t blame her.
