This is why this family is so loveable; Maddox has a $30 Jansport backpack. I love the fact that they buy their children practical items that don’t break the bank. They don’t seem to define their lives by material possessions.

Meela: Maddox goes to a prestigious french private school and Zahara also has designer running shoes (Lacoste). They travel by private jet all over the world. They have probably more than one mansion to play around in. Maddox’s grunge look t-shirts aren’t cheap either have you ever watched the Fabulous Life of Celeb Kids? The lady who owns a children’s boutique said that Angelina calls if she needs a fast shipment of clothes for Maddox.
Yes, he has a $30 backpack, but Brad & Angelina are millionaires. Those kids are spoiled rotten compared to millions of kids everywhere.
Ever heard “if you have a roof over your head, clothes to wear and food to eat you’re richer than 3/4 of the population”. The Jolie-Pitts have much more than just a roof over their head & food to eat.

I agree with Meela. While we know that the family has money and that they spend quite a bit, they aren’t so out of touch with reality that they send their son to school with a Coach backpack or anything of the like. While they do have pricier clothing and accessories, they also have cheaper everyday clothing like the rest of us have.

Maddox is definately a cutie!
And I agree they do have more things than the average person because of their money but also, if you notice their children always share clothes as well. And they don’t seem all that spoiled to me. Angelina said Daddy Pitt spoils them though. haha =)

Compared to the lifestyle they could have, these kids aren’t even close to being spoiled! Material possessions seem pretty low on their list of priorities. Yes, Brad and Angie are millionaires but she donates one third of her gross income directly to charity. Brad recently made a pledge of $5million to help rebuild New Orleans.
The fact that they take a private jet and live in large homes is more to do with security and privacy than plain extravagance… Most kids in America don’t have a bodyguard either, but I doubt they want one.

I don’t think you should feature pictures of either Jolie or Pitt picking up their children from school. The paparazzi shouldn’t be swarming a school for pictures. The ones of them on the playground or shopping are enough. Let them have a tiny bit of normal time, and let the school operate in peace.

She was at the UN, at the Croatian week. She had the vegetarian meal, and liked it so much that she asked to meet the chefs. Everyone said that she was very nice, and trying very hard to do her job as the UN embassador, inspite the reporters and cameras that followed her everywhere.
But, on topic. I love Mad, he is my fav celeb kid. And Angelina looks just like most moms in my school did (mine included) and still do (majority works).

Maddox looks cute as always! That said, I must admit that I am actually a bit surprised that we haven’t seen more photos of Angie (and/or Brad) dropping off/picking up Maddox at school. When the J-Ps were in Prague, there were pictures of them going to and from school practically every day here on CBB (in that case, most of the pics were of Pax and Z, who were attending pre-school at the American Embassy there, but there were quite a few of Mad as well)! LOL!
Sarah’s note: I personally don’t post any after the report about it being disruptive came out.
Unfourtnately, I have a hard time believing that the paps are actually being considerite and not photographing Mad going to and from school every day. Therefore, I’m assuming that a lot of the pictures that have been taken of him are either not very good ones (e.g., his back is to the camera), or that he and/or Angie look upset with the paps in several of the pictures.
At any rate, this is nothing against CBB. It’s just an observation I’ve made, and personally I’m kind of glad we don’t see daily pics of Maddox going to/from school. They get repetitive after awhile, and I don’t think we need to see every single minute of their lives!
