Chris ‘Big Black’ Boykin expecting first child
At a fundraiser over the weekend for Tony Hawk’s ‘Proving Ground Stand Up for Skateparks’ Chris ‘Big Black’ Boykin — one of the stars of MTVs show Rob & Big — announced that he will soon be a father. The 6′ 6", 375-lb bodyguard for professional skateboarder Rob Drydek revealed that the child, a girl, is due Feb. 15 and will be named Isis after the Egyptian queen.
I’m just going, ‘Hey, I know it’s going to be a girl, so I can prepare myself for that. Other than that, it’s a great feeling.
Chris, who says he plans to "learn on the fly" about parenthood, feels that his proximity to the skateboarding world will give him a unique vantage point from which to raise Isis.
You’ve got to keep in tune with what these kids are into, so I can make sure I’m on top of my daughter.

I love Big Black! I’m sure he’ll be a great father. Wonder if Rob will be the god father…

He’s awesome. I think he’ll be a great father, and very protective of his little girl. She’s going to have a hard time dating – guys will run the other way when they see how intimidating her dad is.

I love him and Rob. That would be so cool if Rob were the godfather. I cant wait to see him as a dad!

Any info on when this little one was born? I almost forgot about Big having a baby until I saw a Rob & Big ad online the other day.
Sarah’s note: Isis was due to be born Feb 15th, but we haven’t heard anything yet, although we assume she has been born.

I just wanted to say that Big Blacks Baby is so cute. I wish Big and his lady all the luck in the world. I am sad to see the show be over cause it is what makes me laugh and my two kids love the show. My son is three and likes to say “do work son” and “muchacha susia”.

im still on the edge about wether its big blacks baby or not because she was completely white and a man as dark as him cant have a baby that white
