Dayanara Torres clarifies earlier comments on rumored Jennifer Lopez pregnancy
In a recent interview with El Escandalo TV, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres — ex-wife to Marc Anthony — mused that her children with Marc would be "happy" at the news that their father is expecting a baby with his new wife Jennifer Lopez.
They don’t know yet [about the pregnancy] because I found out a day ago. But I imagine they will be happy, because when my sister had her kids they were.
Dayanara — mom to 6-year-old Christian and 4-year-old Ryan, with Marc — quickly back-tracked on the comments, however, issuing a statement yesterday that,
I have neither confirmed, nor have first-hand knowledge of any pregnancy. I had been advised of pregnancy ‘rumors’ by my manager who wanted to make sure I was aware in case my children heard anything at school that I may need to address; so when I was approached by a reporter who stated as fact that my children were to have a new sibling soon, I assumed that this had been confirmed. My answer to him was that though they had no knowledge of a sibling, that I imagine that they will be incredibly happy. Marc, his family and I have a very respectful and mature relationship which we work hard to conserve for the benefit of our children.
Rumors of a pregnancy have been fueled by Jennifer’s recent wardrobe choices and coy response when asked by members of the media about whether or not she is, in fact, expecting her first child.

If Jennifer is indeed pregnant – I think she will be like Christina Aguilera and never confirm or deny it.

I hate when the press asks the ex about how they feel. What do they expect her to say? It has been some years since the divorce and I’m sure Dayanara has moved on with her life and wishes them the best. The end, no story.

Daynara is a beautiful women I think Marc lost his marbles when he let her go but I guess the love wasn’t there.

I didn’t even think about his small children on this issue. You’d think if she is pregnant they would certainly sit those children down and talk to them about it. How could they believe that his children would not be exposed at school to rumors? They very well may have a addressed these things w/ his children. who knows.
