Jennifer Lopez’s mother apparently confirms pregnancy; multiple source say it’s true
Jennifer Lopez’s mother has confirmed that the singer is indeed expecting; and the twin rumor continues to stick. During recent press rounds, Jennifer, 38, has chosen to not disclose anything about her much speculated upon pregnancy. From her mother, to the MTV co-host’s suspicions, to the cover of Us Weekly and their sources, the rumors seem confirmed.
MTV co-host Damien Fahey told Us that her pregnancy seemed obvious to him.
I’ve been around a lot of pregnant women. She walked around like a pregnant woman, sat like a pregnant woman, and stood like a pregnant woman. If I were a betting man, I’d definitely bet she was pregnant.
A source has now apparently told Us Weekly that Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe, 61, "is proudly telling people she’s having twins." Another source is also adding that for Jennifer and husband, Marc Anthony, 39, it’s a dream come true and they are thrilled.
It’s a dream come true. She and Marc are over the moon. [Conceiving] was a struggle for her. This pregnancy is a miracle.

I’m so happy for them!!! I think it’s fabulous and I wish her lots of luck. She will definitely make a great mother. Marc and Jennifer will make beautiful, talented babies.

I’m happy for them, but this is getting kind of silly now…
With all the people around her NOT asking her on purpose, it’s just like a game now.

I’m sorry I’m not trying to be rude but now I’m getting sick of this story. If she’s pregnant well so be it, but I wish she would just confirm it so that the press can move on. Why would she not just want to put this thing to rest one way or the other? I don’t think she owes anyone an explanation but it’s just time for her to have some peace about the whole thing. Is it a control issue that she wants to talk when she’s good and ready

This is really getting ridiculous. You can’t control every little aspect of your life. Especially once you have kids, so JLo better get used to this. And if she can’t handle the pregnancy leaking out (she’s a huge celebrity, how could it NOT happen?) then maybe she needs to get some help for her control tendencies.
Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s a great performer and I like her movies. She’s a brilliant businesswoman as well but sometimes you just have to let go.

Since I don’t beleive that her and Marc ever made an “offical” announcement that they got married, I wouldn’t expect a pregnancy announcement either. I think she learned from the whole Bennifer thing.
Can I also say though, I think it is great that David Letterman “didn’t go there.” After grilling Paris, I was afraid he would. But I think that as a parent who kept his own child’s impending birth private until the last minute, he understand first hand that she would not want to talk about it.

The article makes it sound as if she has had miscarriages, so that would explain the secrecy aspect. Now that she is 4 months, she should be ready to announce it.
I would respect her so much, if she were to come forward and talk about her pregnancy issues, as I think thats very empowering and people would then forgive her for all this, hush, hush nonsense.
Of course that sort of thing is easier said than done.

If she wants to keep the pregnancy private at this point, then I applaud her. She doesn’t owe any of us anything. Good for her. I only wish other people would respect that and not speak to the press about her pregnancy.
Obviously I like to read the news and see the pics of celebs and their kids or I wouldn’t be on this site. But its not like she has gone into hiding – there are still pics for us to look at just about every day. Same with Christina – we see her on here every day going to baby stores, creating registries etc. We shouldn’t ask for anything more (ie. details on Jennifer’s rumored troubles conceiving and/or carrying) – its not any of our business.

Seriously to me the new thing now is when a celeb is pregnant it basically not to say a word. Why should they? It only fuels more rumors and speculation until you can tell with your own eyes that particular celeb is pregnant. It’s more press for them, they’re talked about when they choose to not to confirm. I think it’s great that she and Marc are expecting and i’m sure they’ll be fantastic parents.

Maybe she wanted to wait until she was out of the first trimester, and if she is indeed having twins that would be why she appears a bit larger so we all noticed it earlier. I know I didn’t have to make an official announcement either time I was pregnant. Word of mouth is all it takes.

LMAO, now her mama outed her. I wonder how she feels about that. I hope she won’t go and deny her own mother’s confirmation, though I can understand her wanting privacy. But seriously, it’s obvious in the way she’s dressed, how she’s looking. She does scream that she’s pregnant.
I’m just waiting for her to be out to there and saying it’s something else. I’m hoping it won’t be that. Maybe she’ll change her mind and share her happiness…

Okay time for a quick rant! I am about to kill all these newspapers with the “Jennifer Lopez is Pregnant with Twins!” she never confirmed it, so quick acting like she did. (well maybe now she did… I dunno) But that’s not my point… my point is: WHO REALLY GIVES A CRAP? I love Jennifer Lopez; I wish I could have gotten tickets to her concert and I can sing her new song just about anywhere. But even I, a Jennifer Lopez fan, don’t give a crap. I don’t care if she’s pregnant, I don’t care weather she’s having twins or sextuplets! What’s it of my concern if she’s pregnant or not? If she wants to say it, she will. If she doesn’t want to confirm it, so she won’t. Christina Aguilera never confirmed hers when it is quite clear she is pregnant. People are still badgering her about it – WE KNOW ALREADY! Who cares what she says? Did it ever occur to someone that maybe she’s not saying anything because in the past she’s had a few miscarriages? That’s a very high possibility! We all know they were trying, she has always said that. So not wanting to say anything right away is normal. And it’s just pissing me off because they are more important things in the world than if she’s pregnant or not. She’s not my mother; she’s not my sister… so why would I care? I am so hoping that the rumors are true as I think I know how she and Marc have wanted this to happen. God’s Blessings to Jennifer, Marc and their families. I will continue to keep them in my prayers of the rosary. Here’s to a healthy happy baby (ies?).

Well I want for everyone to know and to Jennifer wich I hope she reads this . I am very happy for her and I am very amused but that is her decision to keep it on the down low due to the fact that this is her first child . And to be honest people should just let her be and let her live her life the way she chooses causre there’s is to much envy and to many bad people in this world that might jinks her and things would not be what she want . So jenny keep up what you doing love ur fans and do what you got to do to have a beautiful pregnaci and a wonderful life no one has to know anything till you make it ur chice to do it and is not like is not going to show .
