Katie ‘Jordan’ Price with son Junior in OK! Magazine
Model and television personality Katie ‘Jordan’ Price, 29, appears in OK! Magazine with her middle child, Junior Savva Andreas, 2. Dad is pop singer Peter Andre, 34. In the article Jordan talks about raising three children, managing work and family and particularly her middle child, Junior. The couple also have Princess Tiáamii, 3 months, and Harvey, 5.

Katie mentions that she realizes that sometimes middle children feel left out. However, they seem to have the balancing act worked out.
Obviously we love them all the same, but they all need completely different kinds of care, and it just comes naturally. Obviously Harvey is special needs and Princess is a newborn, but Junior is a toddler and always asking for his bottle or my make-up or his car or a book and is into everything. It’s easy to juggle them all, though — we’re used to it and you just do it.
What kind of boy is Junior?
He wants everything he can’t have! If you tell him not to touch it, he will. Also he’s a real poser, he loves the camera and on this shoot he didn’t want me to do his hair, he wanted Pete to do it. He likes hairspray on it — any product he can get his hands on, he loves — aftershave, lip gloss.
Whatever he sees us putting on he wants. If I’m getting dressed he wants to put my stuff on and if Pete’s getting dressed, he wants to put Pete’s stuff on.
Not only does Junior love dressing up, Katie says that he has better clothes than her and he loves shoes.
Well obviously he doesn’t know anything about designer labels, although I always dress the kids in better clothes than I do myself and always get him designer stuff. He likes shoes, though — he loves getting shoes.
Katie says that Junior is absolutely a daddy’s boy, but knows that mommy is the one that will buy his things when they are out.
He likes it when we go shopping, because he knows I’m the one who buys him stuff. But he kind of goes from one to the other, especially at bedtime. If Pete tells him to go to bed he wants a Mommy cuddle, if I tell him to go to bed he wants a Daddy cuddle. Pete’s normally the one who reads to him before he goes to bed though.
Junior is a sociable child, but still loves watching movies independently.
He loves playing with his cars, he loves playing with other children and is a really sociable child. He loves going in the cinema room with popcorn and he will sit and watch a film — stuff like Harry Potter and The Last Minzy.
What does Katie think he will be like when he is older?
He’ll be a poser like Pete. He likes dancing, being in front of the camera, looking at himself in the mirror.
Junior is a mixture of a charmer and a naughty little kid.
Well, he does love the girls at school and when we’re out shopping and he sees girls he wants to go and cuddle them all the time. He loves giving people cuddles. He’s naughty as well, though — he pulls the kid’s hair at school.
And there is no sibling rivalry — Junior is obsessed with Princess.
Junior is absolutely obsessed with the baby. I think he just saw us giving her love and he sees us giving each other love and just copies what we do.
Katie says the boys can sometime be naughty but she would "never" smack them.
Harvey threw a toy at the window recently and broke it. The naughtiest thing Junior has done is put all his dinner in a cup of water.
What does Katie think makes a good mother?
I suppose just loving your children, thinking of them first, give them everything they need, support them, don’t have favorites and do your best. I think it’s about enjoying doing things with them as well.

Yet another adorable little baby boy who looks just like his daddy!! lol
October 10th, 2007 at 8:43 pm
Wow, that boy is darling! Definitely a spitting image of Pete. He is gorgeous and I can wait to see the baby!
October 10th, 2007 at 8:44 pm
That’s a really cute kid.
October 10th, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Wow! It’s mini-Peter!!!! I LOVE that Katie had a photo shoot with just Junior as attention is usually on Harvey or the “new baby.” How special for Junior! (And I agree – what a gorgeous child!)
October 10th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
wow, yes, he looks just like his dad. i wonder if princess will look like katie.
October 10th, 2007 at 9:37 pm
Wow, he’s one of the only celebrity babies I can look at, and know exactly who their parent/s is/are. The only other celebrity baby I can do that with is Matilda Ledger. Both are the spitting image of their fathers.
Katie is beautiful, and you can tell she is over the moon, completely in love with her son.
October 10th, 2007 at 9:48 pm
The second picture is the cutest thing ever!!! Does Katie really have to dress that sexy in a photo shoot with her son?? Sorry!
October 10th, 2007 at 10:04 pm
What a cutie! I agree, he looks just like Pete! Adorable photos; he looks like he is full of personality!
October 10th, 2007 at 10:38 pm
What a beautiful little boy Junior is!! He’s taken after his daddy! And best of all I love his hairdos!!! I hope they release some new pictures of Harvey and baby Princess!
October 10th, 2007 at 11:28 pm
He looks just like peter.
October 11th, 2007 at 12:47 am
Who is Harveys father?
October 11th, 2007 at 12:50 am
Also what type of disablity does Harvey have??
October 11th, 2007 at 2:04 am
He’s a beautiful little boy.
You know, a lot of gossip sites don’t say anything nice about Katie Price and Peter Andre, but I really like them.
October 11th, 2007 at 4:28 am
He really is a little cutie and I’m a big Jordan and Peter fan, but a little perturbed that in the interview she says that Junior watches Harry Potter! I really think that he is waaaaay too young to be watching the subject matter, which is scary for even older children. Just my point of view!
October 11th, 2007 at 5:22 am
Wow, he is the image of his daddy! I agree with you there Kait – I am also fans of Katie & Peter.
October 11th, 2007 at 6:46 am
Aaah, my favourite family! I absolutely love these guys. They just seem to have such a wonderful family unit. It’s great that katie and peter split everything between each other.
October 11th, 2007 at 6:53 am
What a super cutie. I just want to give him a big hug:)
He is a defenitly his daddy’s “mini-me.”
October 11th, 2007 at 8:09 am
Just like everyone else has said, there is no denying Peter is that adorable little boys daddy
October 11th, 2007 at 8:33 am
that is such a sweet picture.. i want a son… but i adore my 3 daughters..
October 11th, 2007 at 11:49 am
He is cute and all, but doesn’t anyone think that he’s being taught to be materialistic, just a little bit? At two-years-old he’s into clothes and shoes? And “product”? Criticize me if you will, but I just don’t think that behavior is appropriate for a toddler. (And, yes, I have a child…she’s one.)
October 11th, 2007 at 1:32 pm
I see nothing wrong with a little boy that likes to put “product” in his hair to make it spiky, I doubt he calls it product either. And little girls are often into dresses, and dress up and looking pretty, and nothing is said about them being materialistc. Mothers often spend hours doing their little girls hair just right, what is wrong with him like stuff in his hair?
October 11th, 2007 at 1:34 pm
oh! and I forgot to mention that that first picture of them is just ADORABLE! I love his little lips!
October 11th, 2007 at 1:39 pm
He’s too young to be materialistic, but I suppose later on he might be. Most little kids like to play dress up, its normal, he just happens to have nicer clothes than most kids.
October 11th, 2007 at 2:03 pm
Jordan said her oldest son Harvey has special needs…what are they? Thanks!
Sarah’s note: Harvey has septo-optic dysplasia, and is on the more severe end of the spectrum.
October 11th, 2007 at 2:09 pm
i love this family and how cute is this little fella?a real heartbreaker.. people critise katie and peter for doing photoshoots with the kids all the time but at least they get to control what pictures are shown of their kids and the paps will hound them less…plus i love seeing new pics of the andre kids, all three of them are little superstars.
October 11th, 2007 at 3:05 pm
Junior is such a cutie, and he definitely looks like his dad, Peter.
The second and third photos are my favorites!
October 11th, 2007 at 3:13 pm
I see nothing wrong with a 2 year old liking to get new clothes and shoes and putting product in his hair. All my kids were like that around ages 2/3/4. They loved getting new clothes and were starting to assert their independence and show their personalities. Each loved picking out their own clothes and shoes and doing their hair whatever way the wanted.
October 11th, 2007 at 7:24 pm
I just think it’s all a bit too much. The clothes, the hair, the shoes. I know he’s only 2, but he’s at such an impressionable age. I know the value of having fun with your kids, and letting them use hair stuff, and the lip gloss, and how great kids think that stuff is. Too much, too often, though, is what I have a problem with. I don’t doubt they love their kids.
October 11th, 2007 at 11:11 pm
Do you guys kiss your children on the lips?
October 12th, 2007 at 3:40 am
wow he is amazingly gorgeous
October 12th, 2007 at 10:23 am
Hi – sorry to be a bit nerdy, but Junior’s middle name is actually Savva not Sawa (from Peter’s greek cypriot roots).
I agree he’s absolutely gorgeous and so what if he wants spiky hair – I have two boys and they both liked having spiky hair from about 2. I bet Junior wants to look like Daddy!
October 12th, 2007 at 10:59 am
My daughter is 16 months and suddenly loves shoes. She loves Crocs and boots especially…I think it must be an age thing. We also let her pick out what clothes she wants to wear each day.
October 12th, 2007 at 11:27 am
My little niece was OBSESSED with shoes from the moment she started walking I think she liked the different sounds they made and the way different ones made her a little taller or how flip flops flipped on her feet. i dont think he is necessarily “materialistic” but he may love the attention his parents give him like mom saying “OH! you look so CUTE in this” or even the sales people in the stores saying things. the shoe thing I think is just a toddler obsession…..
October 12th, 2007 at 4:29 pm
Re “kissing children on the lips” asked by Sara, No. I was brought up at a time, when it was considered really taboo. I think, because it was supposed to be unheathy, as a mother could give her kid a cold. But, as liberal as I want to be about parents and kids, I still cringe when I see babies and toddlers, being kissed on the lips. !! I don’t feel I missed anything in my kids’ infancies or childhoods, because I didn’t kiss their mouths.
October 12th, 2007 at 7:37 pm
He is so cute!!! I think the hair thing is adorable. Seems like a Daddy thing to me.
Onatear – I don’t mean this in a rude way, just seriously curious…when was this “time” when people were told not to kiss kids on the lips?
I don’t have kids yet, but I am a nanny and have definitely lip-kissed the little girl before. Here mom does too. It’s not all the time or something, but sure I do sometimes! I wouldn’t do that if I had a cold, but really the amount of contact mothers inevitably have with their kids everyday would transmit most basic illnesses regardless of lip-kissing.
October 15th, 2007 at 11:55 pm
I love this interview… she’s so down to earth and easy going as a mom.
And nothing wrong with letting him get done up for a photo shoot… I doubt they do his hair up all the time.
I was never kissed on the lips as a child.
With each of my kids we have just let them lead the way… we have kissed lips, tummies, arms, legs, cheeks, backs, basically “covering them in kisses” until they showed any preferances…
My oldest who has aspergers was never big on kisses… but he does like one or two at a time… anywhere but his lips… but his favorite spot? top of the head… on his hair… he says it feels “less freaky”
things that bother him he says “freak me out”, so anything that is less freaky is good.
and he doesn’t like a soft cuddle or hug… he likes “squishy hugs”, “choke-hold hugs”… hugs that are big, tight, and yet also quick… he used to do “tackle hugs”, but he’s too big… he’d knock me down!… so those are for special occasions.
My younger son always wants tons of kisses… he kisses people on the lips (family only) or on the cheek (friends and people he knows well) hello and will hug anyone (even people he just met) as long as Mommy or Daddy say it’s okay.
He loves to kiss me on the lips and his favorite thing is for me to kiss each of his cheeks, peck him on the lips, then he gets both of my cheeks and my lips.
but if we have a lot of time and are just having a cuddle, he loves to be kissed all over the face and then a kiss on the lips… all with big soft hugs.
and my daughter is somewhere in between. she isn’t big on lip kissing right now… like my younger son was at this age… so lots of cheek kisses… she loves us to “eat” her arms and legs… and she loves to snuggle and hug all the time.
But when she gets in the super loving mood, she will grab your face in her hands and just purse her lips so gentle and make you kiss her on the lips 8-10 times.
She loves to do this thing she saw in Shrek the third… MMMMM… OHHHH… where you MMMMMM… act like you will kiss… then, when you’re close, you pull away like your collars hit.
And if you sneak fast and peck her on the lips or cheek, she will stand up… grab your face, and plant one on ya.
My mom was very cold… never showed much affection and stopped giving any hugs or kisses once we were about 6… so I’ve made sure to just lavish it as much and as long as my kids want.
Now that doesn’t mean that we don’t watch germs. They all get told no on the kissing if either they or myself or whoever is sick… but otherwise, whatever they want. They can worry about appearancess and propriety when they are older.
October 16th, 2007 at 3:36 pm
junior looks JUST LIKE PETER!!!! i thought they also had another girl named bunny?! did they re-name her princess?!
October 17th, 2007 at 6:30 pm
Oh my Gosh!
Junior looks exactly like a little Pete!! Those pictures are absolutely precious of Junior with Katie!! She’s looking gorgeous as usual.
Can’t wait to see pics of Princess! I’m curious who she’ll look like?
But come on the entire family is GORGEOUS!
Does anybody know if they are doing anymore shoots, “Katie and Peter”, the reality series?? I’m constantly searching the TV lineup on E, but haven’t seen any for months.
I’ve seen alot of footage of the Beckhams but how boring! I for one, and probably a large portion of America has fallen in love with Kate and Pete!
I really hope to see more of the Andre’s!

I am so fed up with people complaining about parents kissing their kids, letting them sleep in the same bed as them, hip carrying them etc. Whatever happened to doing what you want with your child? I have three children of my own and I have been told by numerous people not to let them sleep in the same bed as me and not to carry them about and I am sick of it.
They’re my children just like Junior is Katie’s son, just like any baby is their mothers and fathers so we should be able to do whatever we want to our kids as long as they are happy and healthy.
I bring up my kids to have good manners and I do inforce rules but there are so many people who tell others how to raise their kids when they really have no idea what the child’s like.
I’m sorry to rant on but this is how I feel, too often on this blog people comment about :
Angelina Jolie hip carrying Maddox
Kate Hudson allowing Ryder to have a pacifier
Parents kissing kids on lips
Why don’t we just let them raise the kids the way they want? No-one knows your kids better than you after all
