Anne Heche on being away from her son
Men in Trees actress Anne Heche shared with The View how hard it is to be away from her son, Homer, with ex-husband, cameraman Coley Laffoon, who shares custody of the five-year-old.
Homer is seeing a lot of the friendly skies as he travels from his home in Los Angeles to visit Anne, who lives in Vancouver, Canada.
Homer flies a lot … twice a month to see me.
However, Homer isn’t the only one flying. Anne also travels twice a month to Los Angeles to visit her little boy.
When the actress isn’t with her son in person, she knows that she needs to make sure he knows how much she loves him when they are on the phone. She reveals,
It’s hard. You’ve got to open up your heart as if he’s right in front of you.
