Thalía’s mom says her granddaughter looks just like Thalía
Singer and radio host Thalía, 36, and her husband, record producer Tommy Mottola, 58, welcomed daughter Sabrina Sakaë on October 7th. Thalía’s mother, Yolanda Miranda, appeared on El Gordo y la Flaca and gushed about her new granddaughter’s beauty saying the baby and her mother were exact look-a-likes. Yolanda said:
There’s going to be another Thalía. There’s already another Thalía.
Comparing a photo of Thalía when she was 15 days old, Yolanda continued to remark on the resemblance of mother and daughter saying:
The baby is a beauty.
Thalía’s mother, as well as Tommy, were present for the birth of Sabrina. Yolanda said that Sabrina already recognizes her father’s voice and that Tommy would sing and speak to the baby before she was born. She also added that Sabrina already made her broadcast debut last Saturday. She was with Thalía during her radio show Conexión Thalía which she broadcasts from home. Yolanda said listeners could hear Sabrina:
The baby was there and she made a little noise.

Were thye afraid that the baby would look like the father?
I looked exactly like my mother when I was a baby, and now I look more like my dad.

The middle name of Thalia’s daughter is pronounced “SAH-KAY” So it’s Sabrina Sakae (“SAH-KAY”) It’s japanese inspired. She has a fondness for the asian culture. She speaks fluent tagalog.
