Second child on the way for John C. McGinley — a baby girl
Actor John C. McGinley, 48, is awaiting the birth of his second child — and the Scrubs star couldn’t be more excited.
We’re having a baby! I’ll give you the inside scoop. We found out it’s ababy girl, and she’s coming February 2! So that’s our big announcement.That’s our big thing.
Their new daughter will be the first child John and wife Nichole are expecting together. She will join Max, John’s 10-year-old son from his previous marriage — who actually introduced the couple and then served as his father’s best man at his and Nichole’s April wedding. If things go their way, they plan on adding more children to the mix in the future.
Nicole and I want to have an army. Youknow, we want to have as many kids as we’re lucky enough to have. I’vealways wanted to surround Max with brothers and sisters and that’s whatwe’re going to do!
Now that Scrubs is currently shooting its final season, John has big plans for his time off.
Everybody keeps asking what I’m going to doafter Scrubs. I don’t know what I’m doing…I’m going to take care of my little girl — that’s what I’m doing!

Nicole will be an outstanding mother; she has always been a loving and gentle person from the day of her birth. I’m sure little Billie Grace will be just like her mommie and her great-grandmother for whom she is named.
