Derrick Dockery in love with fatherhood
Derrick Dockery of the Buffalo Bills is completely in love with his new daughter, Madison Elizabeth, who was born September 24th. The 27-year-old knows that he and his wife, Emma, are blessed.
It’s great. It’s truly a blessing, man. I was there for the whole thing. Seeing her come out it was so surreal. I couldn’t believe it. Every time I see her now, I just smile.
Even though Derrick had an idea of what fatherhood would be like, he learned that it was nothing like he imagined.
It’s been better than I ever could have imagined. It makes you put everything in perspective. Everything doesn’t seem as important once you bring a child in the world because that becomes your No. 1 priority. It’s a great feeling.
