Kim Fields on her July wedding
Former Facts of Life star Kim Fields recently opened up about her July 23 nuptials to Broadway actor Christopher Morgan. Kim gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son named Sebastian ‘Sam’ Alexander Morgan, on May 4, 2007, forcing the couple to postpone their wedding and focus on the baby.
Christopher discussed their decision to wait, saying they were happy with the way things turned out.
I wanted to be married first, but when this came up, it was like, there’s no need to rush anything.
Kim agreed, admitting the months leading up to the wedding were all about baby Sam.
We wouldn’t go into something like [having a baby] without knowing that we’re it for each other and we’re not going anywhere. These are life commitments.
Family friend Pastor Donnie McClurkin married the couple in a small, private ceremony. Kim and Christopher, along with Sam and a long-time family friend, crowded into the Pastor’s modest church office for the “I do’s” on July 23.

Oh I so wish you all had updated pictures of baby Sam I would so love to see how big he is now. Congrats to Kim and Christopher!!!
