"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

congrats to her! Is 5 weeks common for twins? I know they can come early, but 5 weeks seems very early. I love the names, very cute.

  2. Cassie Says:

Five weeks is a little early, but normal for twins.

I can’t wait to see the boys!

  3. Nicole Says:

5 weeks is actually pretty good for twins, I think. And it’s even better for the twins if they were PLANNING on them coming early, because there’s a lot of things doctors can do to make sure they do well after they’re born.

I LOVE those names! I wonder if they’re identical?

  4. legemc Says:

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Jaid for a boys name. I bet the babies are gorgeous! My new niece should be here any day now so I can’t wait!

  5. Preesi Says:

OH THANK GOD! I felt so uncomfortable WITH her…

  6. Jen Says:

Congratulations to Garcelle and her family! :D

  7. Jenny Says:

5 weeks is early no matter what, but fairly good for twins….and even though it may seem like they are tiny (which they are) those are good weights for preemies. My friend just had twin boys 7 weeks early and they were much smaller…but doing just fine now. As someone mentioned before, they were probably being monitored very closely and the doctors decided to take them at 35 weeks knowing that they would be fine. Congrats to everyone!

  8. Cait Says:

Most doctors and midwives now a days are saying that 37 weeks is considered full term, so technically they’re only 2 weeks early. Not surprised she went early though, poor thing was so big!

  9. Heather Says:

Congrats! I had a feeling she’d give birth soon. I love the name Jax!

  10. FC Says:

5 weeks early and nearly 5 lbs. is pretty good for twins. And I’m so happy for her and family! I hope she decides to share a photo of two of Jax and Jaid, and btw, I love the names she chose for them. :)

  11. Nadège Says:

Congratulations! It’s great that she was able to go as far as she did.
I hope she gets to take her little guys home on time and that they don’t have to spend any time in the NICU.
Good luck for the hectic first few weeks! (Well, actually, that’s all the time!) :-)

  12. Megan Says:

    misspelling names = not cool
I do like the name Jade on a boy though.

    Congrats to them =]

  13. gianna Says:

Pretty good weight for twins, and cute names. I love twins with same first intials lol.

  14. phoenix Says:

I look forward for seeing those beautiful babies!! CONGRATULATIONS

  15. Tarsha Says:

I am so excited she “dropped her load” lol. Just looking at her, made my stomache hurt. J/K. I hope she share a photo.

  16. amelita Says:

Congrats to her! I agree with Megan that creative spellings are not cool. They only cause hassles for the kid and look kind of silly. Jack and Jude would have been nicer.

  17. C Says:

I think that they spelled the name “Jaid” like that to signify that he is a boy. Usually with unisex names there are alternate spellings for girls and boys (Erin and Aaron for example).

I love when names are spelled differently (I wouldn’t call them misspelled though). My name is Courtney but my mom spelled it with 2 “ee’s” instead of “ey.” I have also seen it begin with a k and not have the u.

I can’t wait to see pictures of these babies! I’m still waiting to see pictures of the Oliver too.

  18. PSB Says:

I’m so happy for her. She looked fantastic throughout the whole pregnancy – especially for a woman over 40! Having twins!

Not a fan of the names, but I’ll bet those boys are gorgeous.

  19. sunnyzwei Says:

The spelling of Jaid is kinda off to me too. Think Jade or even Jayde would’ve looked better. No matter, I’m happy the babies are healthy – can’t wait to see them!

  20. Babyshower Says:

    Congratulations to both!

I am a twin myself and me and my sister were also born five weeks early. No worries!

    gr,
    Karen

  21. anonymous Says:

Jax means, son of Jack. It’s also a short an alternate version of Jackson. Jaid may have some French meaning as Garcelle is Haitian, a one-time French colony.

Get over it people, she didn’t name them LeBron, Keyshawn, or any of the stupid names that people use nowadays. The are strong powerful names that any child can spell without taking advanced reading.
