Cris Judd seemingly confirms Jennifer Lopez’s pregnancy
Actor and choreographer Cris Judd, 38, confirmed to US Magazine and People that his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, 38, is currently expecting her first child.
I am very happy for her that she is pregnant. She has always wanted to be a mom, so I am very happy for her.
I only wish her the best, I always have. She’s alwayswanted to be a mother, and now she’s going to be. I couldn’t be anyhappier for her. I can’t wait to see him.
The couple were married for almost a year in 2001/2002. Jennifer is currently married to singer Marc Anthony, 39.

I think she doesn’t want to go public with it because she’s afraid of what happened with her and Ben and the press. She is much more private now with her and Marc. I don’t expect an announcement at any time soon. Maybe never.

This is just getting silly now, with everyone but the couple coming out about it, and the way people are either thrilled or angry that the couple won’t make it known either way.
Just let them have some peace.

I don’t know why people would believe that Cris Judd would have some inside info…I honestly doubt Jennifer still talks to her ex husband all the time! He probably has heard the rumors that everyone else has heard.

I doubt he is commenting on rumors. I’m sure he has seen the picture, which confirm a pregnancy (or a really bad tumor or something) and when asked said “Yeah.”
When it comes to pregnancy’s, I don’t see why people have to confirm. It’s not something you can hide. Just let it run its course. Everyone was speculating on whether or not she is, but I think the bump proves it. Eventually it will get bigger and then the hat is out of the bag.
I think Jennifer should do like my cousins did while they were pregnant (as a joke). When asked, they said “Nope, I’m not pregnant, I’m just fat.”

Does anyone else think it’s really not his place to announce, confirm, etc on her personal life that doesn’t concern or include him? Personally, if my ex were sharing information about my personal life, I’d be royally livid. Not his business! If he was asked, he could have just said, “I don’t know. Not my business. Ask her or her husband,” and left it at that.

I agree with Rebekah. The pictures clearly indicate she has a growing belly and I’m starting to doubt she’ll make a public announcement confirming her pregnancy. And, really, why should she? Her physical appearance will be confirmation enough in time. I’m really happy for her and Marc.

As I said in other post, it’s their prerogative to keep this to themselves for however long they see fit, or however long the media will allow them. But I’m just gonna have fun and see who else is gonna confirm it, see the photos and see how much she changes. This is fun. I think it’s two people now. Her mother and ex-hubby no.2 who have confirmed so far. A brief nod to Marc’s dedication song, too, lmao. Who’s gonna be next? Hair stylist? Sis Lynda? Hmm…

There shouldn’t be an obligation for them to “announce” the pregnancy – it’s no one’s business but theirs. However, rather than a simple “no comment” when asked the big question, both of them have issued blatant denials. It’s one thing to say “no comment” (even if it’s patently obvious), but lying diminishes their integrity and credibility.

Somebody from the press probably ambushed him with a question about it. I think his response was rather gracious, actually. It’s not like he called the press and announced her pregnancy. Considering how shabbily JLo treated Chris, she’s lucky he has always been so nice about her in the press.
Incidentally, have a friend who knows him and says he’s the nicest man you could ever meet. I just don’t believe he’d do something malicious on purpose.
Jennifer and Mark can announce it or not, but they can’t stop people from talking about the pregnancy once it becomes obvious.

I agree with Rachel. If they dont want to comment, than that is fine but do not flat out LIE. Just wrong IMO.
And I highly doubt Cris Judd has any inside info. I just think he is stating the obvious.

PSB I agree..that’s why I don’t get why not announce it. I do think the media would react the same as they do now if they announced it. I understand privacy but what does saying “yes, we’re expecting” have to do with it? I could understand if she wasn’t showing or anything like that but she is showing and I guess I still don’t get why if someone asks “are you pregnant” a simple yes is so hard to do. How is announcing her pregnancy gonna ruin her relationship with Mark? Comparing her pregnancy to the whole Ben affair doesn’t work.

I love Cris! Of course I have no idea what went on inside their relationship, but I kinda felt bad for him. He seems really sweet. I loved watching him on that “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Outta Here” show.

With ‘Can’t wait to see him’, does he mean the baby or a baby boy? I know it might me strange for him to have such personal information, but it made me read that line twice.. Maybe it is because my native language isn’t English. Anyone else think that?

I don’t care if she’s pregnant, or if she wants it private. However, you can’t pull that while waddling on “Good Morning America” and “Dancing with the Stars.” When you LOOK THAT PREGNANT while promoting a dance album, it looks stupid to act like its something you need to keep private.

Jaisa- I’m guessing he just means that he can’t wait to see the baby. A lot of times people seem to refer to unborn babies as “he” or “him” regardless of whether or not they know the gender. And even if Mark and J-Lo do know the gender, I highly doubt they told Cris! Anyway, this is, however, making me think that J-Lo is indeed having just one baby, not twins. After all, Cris said “him” not “them”, and he didn’t say anything about it being twins.
Renee- They are under absolutly no obligation to offically announce their pregnancy to the public. I’ll admit that I really like it when celebs give offically confirmation that they’re pregnant. However, I completely understand why some choose not to do so.
I don’t know why Jennifer and Mark have both issued flat-out denials. However, to be fair, it’s been at least a month, perhaps more, since they did so. Jennifer was probably in her first trimester than, so they may have been worried about her having a miscarriage.
In any case, their pregnancy is THEIR business, and no-one else’s! Just because it’s obvious doesn’t mean they are under obligation to offically announce it. Christina Aguilera hasn’t offically announced her pregnancy either, and nobody seems to be complaining about that any more! Honestly, why is there such a double-standard?

I have so much respect for people like Christina Aguilera and Isla Fisher for not saying anything – it’s the family’s business. I think Chris crossed a line here.

Halle Berry denied denied denied too until she was ready to announce it (hmmm, right around the time her movie came out).

After watching her yesterday on Dancing with the Stars, I am convinced: she is pregnant. While I agree that she can or can’t announce it, its her perogative, I was very worried watching her dance. The boots she had on in the first number were very tall. All it would take would be one wrong step and she could be seriously injured. I wish her all the best and just hope that she can slow down enough to pamper herself during her pregnancy.
