"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Jermaine Jackson’s request for 50-50 custody denied

Allegations of unfit parenting flew yesterday in a court hearing to decide custody of Jaffar, 11, and Jermajesty, 7, Jackson, the two sons of Jermaine Jackson and his estranged wife Alejandra

According to TMZ, Alejandra told the judge overseeing the case that Jermaine "doesn’t help [the boys] with their homework, forgets to pick them up from school, and doesn’t give them lunch money."  In an August filing with the court, Alejandra complained that Jaffar and Jermajesty sleep in the same bedroom with Jermaine and his current girlfriend, an arrangement she deemed "unhealthy."  Yesterday the judge rejected a request by Jermaine — who currently sees the boys on alternating weekends — for 50-50 custody, and ordered the former Big Brother UK contestant to pay $7,762 per month in spousal support for Alejandra and $3,749 per month in child support.

    Jermajesty??

  2. Nicole Says:

Oh Sabina….thank you so much! That is exactly what I was thinking!

  3. Carla Says:

When people split up, they make all kinds of allegations. And considering Jermaine is a Jackson, it saddens me to think that the court may have been biased.

  4. Michelle Says:

You have to wonder what they were thinking when they came up with that name!

  5. Di Says:

I was thinking about how difficult it must be for a parent to only be allowed to see their kids 4 days a month- that’s what every other weekend equates to. You only have your kids for 13% of the time. 50/50 custody may not be appropriate under the circumstances but 13% is like nothing. There is no way one can be a parent if they only have their kids for four days. For the time being Jermaine is going to be missing out on so much.
I think the courts should be focused on trying to make custody more equitable. If Jermaine does not deserve 50/50 custody right now, at least the court should tell him what he needs to do so that he can earn 50/50 custody.

Sabina & Nicole, lol I know what you mean!

I remember once seeing a pic of Jermajesty several years ago, and her was dressed in the silks & brocade of a child actor from The King & I or The Golden Child!
(Prince Michael I & II? Jermajesty? Hmm, those Jacksons must have a royalty complex! lol!)

Meanwhile Jaafar…well what comes to mind with that name? lol!

Anyway hopefully Jermaine & his ex-wife can work something out with their custody case that is best for the children as well.
