The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck treats audience to baby swag

Tags: Swag

Storksak_gigichocbigYesterday was Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s last day on The View as she is leaving for her maternity leave in Arizona today. The audience of the show was filled with pregnant women who were also expecting their second child, and in some cases, 2nd AND 3rd, and even 2nd, 3rd and 4th child. So, for her last day she decided to show the audience some of the items that she loved and thinks every mom to be should have.

The first items she spoke about were Storksak diaper bags. Elisabeth was given a Storksak as a gift when she had Grace and she loved the bag because it had tons of room, looked great and had really cool zip up pockets on the out side of the bag. (The Gigi style in chocolate is pictured left.)

BebeaulaitOther items that she couldn’t live without were ORE Originals’ diaper bag organizer pouches, ERGO® Baby Carrier, Snack-traps, Fisher-Price® Rainforest™ Swing and Bouncer, Books by Robert Crowther, Julie Appel, and Amy Guglielmo, Mabel’s Sticky Labels, On-the-Go Potty, Britax Diplomat Car Seat, and Bébé Au Lait™ nursing covers in Blomst and Soft Spot (pictured right).  All the expectant moms in the audience were given every single one of those items, Oprah-style.

Jewelsandpinstripes_bump_collageEach audience mom also received a "Celebrity BUMP Bag" from gift bag creator, Jewels and Pinstripes.  It included tons of great products like a Baby Plus Education System, Skip Hop Duo Double diaper bag, Crib Rock Couture t-shirt, stride rite shoes, Baby Emi Jewelry Cambodian jingle anklet, Baby Star’s new burp cloth, gift certificate to create a first year baby book at How Fast They Grow, DUE Stones® by Queenie gift certificate, gift certificate for half a dozen hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries from Shari’s Berries (which are DELICIOUS- I received some recently), Chic Tots‘ Chic&Cozy™ Blanket/Bag, Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard, Safety 1st Thermometer and Baby Monitor, and so many other wonderful goodies, worth over $1,700! 1. Colleen Says:

Some of my must haves for a newborn or infant are:
*A swaddling blanket, or any blanket big enough to swaddle with
    *Boppy pillow
    *Stroller

  2. Juliana Says:

That’s so nice of Elisabeth. Trying to buy herself to be liked by the audience.
She’s definitely not one of my favorites, and I am glad she is off the show.

  3. Pheebs Says:

I LOVE my Bebe Au Lait (Hooter Hider) nursing cover-up. It enables me to nurse anywhere and everywhere! I absolutely would not be near as comfortable nursing in public as I am without it. It just takes all of the guesswork out of covering up. My other favorite Baby Gear item is my Graco Stroller frame. Those infant carriers can get heavy and my little one always seems to fall asleep in the car so it is nice not having to take him out of his carseat to go into a store, etc.

  4. IGNYC Says:

These are my definite must haves…

    1. Miracle Blanket
    2. Peanut Shell Fleece Sling
    3. Baby Oxi Clean
    4. Fisher Price Baby Papasan Swing
    5. Skip Hop Pronto changing pad
    6. Flannel Receiving Blankets to be used as burp cloths
    7. Carter’s long-sleeved side snap tees (with mittens built in)
    8. Mustela Foam Newborn shampoo
    9. Boudreauxs Butt Paste
    10. Manhattan Toy Infant Stim Mobile

  5. Margaret Says:

I got the Chic Tots blanket bag and wristlet as a shower gift and ABSOLUTELY love them! Both simplify being able to pack up my baby and go! I also couldn’t live with out the Ultimate Crib Sheet – changing the crib sheet was such a pain before!

  6. dacey Says:

I LOVE Mabel’s Labels. I was so excited when Elisabeth mentioned them yesterday on The View as one of her top 10 baby products. I could not live with out these durable labels for the stuff kids lose!!!!!

  7. Andrea Says:

If I had to choose two items for baby it would be:

    1-Miracle Blanket (it saved us!)
    2-Pouch

  8. stacey Says:
