Rachel Roy and Damon Dash expecting second child together
Fashion designer Rachel Roy, 33, and her husband, label executive Damon Dash, 36, have announced that they are expecting their second child together this spring. Rachel revealed,
It’s number two. And I am thrilled because number one, Ava, is the best thing in my life, and I have always wanted to have another little Ava – or Ava as a boy! So, high fives all around!
The couple’s daughter, Ava, is 7. Damon has a son, Damon Jr. "Boogie", 14, from a previous relationship.

Are you sure Ava was born in 1999? I thought Damon Dash was engaged to Aaliyah until her death in 2001.

Wouldn’t “Ava as a boy” be like…um…his son Damon Jr??? Couldn’t he have said he’d like another daughter like Ava or another son like Damon, rather than a boy-version of Ava? Hope his son doesn’t read this. Kind of a jerky comment if it’s not taken out of context.

Yes, it was Rachel who made the comment, not Damon himself. All she said was that she’d love a boy version of their daughter together, Ava. It wasn’t a knock to Damon Jr.
Anyhow, good luck to them on this baby!

damons’s son boogie is 15 going on 16 & he has a son named lucky who is 2 going on 3.
