"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the stress of moving

Elisabethhasselbeck3__cbbElisabeth Hasselbeck, 30, was boarding a plane and moving temporarily to Arizona within hours of completing her last day co-hosting The View on Tuesday. She plans to give birth and spend her maternity leave in Arizona cheering on the Arizona Cardinals where her husband, Tim Hasselbeck, 29, plays quarterback for the team. She told People:

Is it hectic? Is it stressful in my ninth month of pregnancy? Yes! But is it all worth it? Without a doubt.

Elisabeth, already mom to Grace, 2 1/2, is excited that her maternity leave is lined up with her husband’s football season. As a New Yorker, she is experiencing some nervousness about the move. She explained:

Tim called and said, ‘the pace her is definitely not what you’re used to!’ They may need to restrain me.

Elisabeth realizes what it means to be together as a family during the coming birth of their second child, who is due around November 11.

For us to to be able to all be together during my maternity leave? This is all just a blessing.

She says her biggest challenge ahead will be life without The View for a little while.

The show is a way of life. I’ll be sitting with Grace having ‘Hot Topics’ over cereal in the morning. I told Barbara, ‘I have the number! You’ll be hearing from me!

Elisabeth plans to return to The View around January 6, 2008. She added:

But I’ve learned not to plan anything too well. I planned to have the baby here in New York. So my plans apparently mean nothing!

  1. Colleen Says:

I know some have said they doubt that Elizabeth will return to the View, but I think she will. Football season ends in January, and most likley they have kept their home in NYC. When football season is over, they can just move back for the View.

  2. gianna Says:

I don’t think she will leave the view, she makes a lot of good money for doing an easy job for an hour a day. Plus it’s too soon to tell if tim will stay working in arizona. He has been traded in or let go of jobs before, so you never know how this will work out, plus football season isn’t all year long.

  3. Go with the Flow Says:

God I hope she does not come back. She knows there are too many people who just cannot stand her and her nasally voice. She is so
    intolerable!

  4. Nancy Says:

I love her positive attitude. How many women at 9 months pregnant would be so cheerful about moving across the country, changing doctors, and giving birth within several weeks of the move? She’s a real trooper!

  5. Melissa Tomlinson Says:

I just want to say I love Elizabeth on the view and her spunky attitude. She is sweet, pretty and always full of energy. I’m so excited for her on having another baby, I hope she gets her boy, but girls are always sweet too. I watch the view everyday and miss seeing her. Can’t wait till she gets back:-)
