Introducing Estela Ines Monteverde
Model/actress Ali Landry, 34, and her husband, director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, 30, welcomed Estela Ines on July 11th. Now 3 months old, the couple introduce their daughter in the latest issue of In Touch.

Estela, who was born just after 9:30 am and weighed in at 8 lbs, 2 oz, was the realization of a life-long dream for Ali.
I always wanted to have children. I feel it was one of my purposes on this earth. Motherhood has taught me to stop and enjoy the moment. I’m so grateful.
Still, the pregnancy was a surprise for Ali and Alejandro.
Four months after we got married, we were pregnant. It was a big surprise, but a welcome one.
When the couple chose their daughter’s name, they didn’t need to look far for inspiration.
We combined both our grandparent’s names — Estela is his grandmother and Ines is my grandmother’s name, Agnes, in Spanish.
Ali also enjoyed choosing different items for the nursery.
I picked out the fabrics for the drapes and all the trims. It’s a small room, so I wanted each piece to be really special.
Their growing family is a source of pride for Ali.
We’re a tag team. Alejandro does everything for her. [Having a baby] really changes everything. The love between us has grown. We’re a family now.
One thing Ali tries not to worry about is baby weight — instead, her focus is on her daughter.
I still have a way to go. I just decided I was going to be patient and to enjoy the process and not worry about hurrying up to get back into shape. Estela is laughing and interacting. It melts my heart.

awwww congrats to them!! i remember watching them on instyle weddings–they seemed soo in love. I’m glad Ali has found happiness after the whole mario fiasco!

That is a small room? My room isn’t even half that size! Anyway the whole family is simply gorgeous! Ali should be in no hurry to lose the baby weight because she looks fabulous!

Small nursery? I think she’s been living in Hollywood for too long. That nursery is bigger than my master bedroom!

I don’t know, it could just be how the photo was shot or the angle. I only say that because you should see what our real estate agent did with our second bathroom, which is basically a toilet in a closet! It looked much bigger than it actually was.
Estela is a beautiful girl. I know lacey, fluffy clothes like that aren’t practical for everyday use, but I love seeing babies all dressed up like that.

What a beautiful nursery! I had to LOL at how un-baby-proofed it is, though! In about 6 months, all that stuff is going to have to come off the shelves.

gorgeous baby, mom and room…..but i always wonder when i see baby rooms like that -and i see a lot of them living in los angeles- how practical and fun is a room like that for a baby/little kid. i could have decorated my son’s room fancy and such but chose kid friendly everything…..to me a child’s room should be about them having fun, not making it so fancy they can’t touch anything. but what do i know…

I believe Alejandro’s last name is Gomez making Monteverde his mother’s maiden name per Spanish tradition. Therefore the baby’s name is Estela Ines Gomez (Landry).

Ali, your daughter is beautiful, your husband is gorgeous and clearly adores you and Estela, and you chose a lovely name for your child. You deserve this after the humiliation Mario heaped on you. All good wishes for the future!

I agree Madam Pince. That was so bad and I felt so awful for her. Ali seems to have found a good husband and has a beautiful daughter.

Agreed, she, baby and room are stunning! I knew she was married to Mario and then they broke up like a week later. Does any one know what happened?
