The Mom2B Las Vegas show is March 3 & 4. If I were to win this giveaway, I would actually be giving it to one of my dear friends – after three years of trying and two heartbreaking miscarriages, she is expecting twins (a boy and a girl!) in December. She has been so cautious and superstitious throughout the pregnancy because of her past experiences, and hasn’t allowed herself anything special – but I think she deserves something extra-special to be pampered with!

The trade show is March 3rd & 4th in Vegas. If I won this bag, I would use it to cheer myself up! I’ve been on bed rest for the last 7 weeks (since I was 19 weeks along), and throughout the course of my bedrest I’ve been told I should terminate, that my baby will have problems, and that I can’t possibly carry to term. It’s been a really scary & painful two months and sometimes it’s hard to remember that I’m doing this for my child. I should win so I can pamper and remind myself that pregnancy is supposed to be a magical experience!!!

Moms2B Trade Show is March 3-4 2008. I just found out I am almost 6 weeks pregnant with our first child! And so is my best friend’s sister. Who wouldn’t love this bag? Plus there is so much stuff in here I would HAVE to share with with her. Being pregnant for the very first time is scary, overwelming, and VERY exciting (not to mention exhausting!). And sometimes I still pinch myself to remind me it’s real. Entering this giveaway (even if I don’t win) for baby makes it all the more real.

The next trade show is March 3 and 4 in Los Angeles!
I am 22 weeks pregnant and, as I suspect many moms-to-be feel, I am filled with a mixture of excitement, joy, and plain old fear when it comes to parenthood. My pregnancy has been plagued with extended morning sickness (lasting into week 22) and, over the weekend, I spent a lot of time thinking about my pregnancy and realizing that I have yet to really celebrate the miracle of it all and to anticipate the arrival of our baby as the amazing, wonderful experience I know it will be. Because of a limited budget, I haven’t indulged in any mommy-to-be type products and I think receiving this gift would provide a great way to celebrate this important stage in my life, enjoy the body I am in, and get ready for baby!
Plus – I would have to share with some of my pregnant friends. This stuff is too cool to keep to oneself!

Las Vegas Trade Show: March 3 and March 4, 2008.
I think this is an amazing package. My family is very excited that my husband and I are expecting our first child in December. Unfortunately, that excitement for my mother, father and sister has been tempered by the fact that my father had an accident (he broke both of his ankles) and the reconstruction and recovery have been one set back after another. I was really looking forward to a baby shower thrown by my mother and sister (they did a wonderful job for my wedding), but with spending so much time in the hospital and looking after my father, my mother hasn’t had the time to plan anything, not to mention the cost involved. I know my parents want to get us something special for their first grandchild, but it’s not at the forefront of their thoughts. We do not have a physically close extended family, so really there hasn’t been anyone to fill in.
So, I think I should win this package, because not that it will replace anything my mother or sister would have done for me, but it would give them peace of mind that I was “showered” in a very special way. Thank you very much for the consideration.

My sister in-law has had VERY rough pregnancies. She was very sick w/ baby number 1, after trying to conceive for 7 years! She almost died w/ baby 2. She ended up losing the baby. Now she’s pregnant w/ baby 3. This has been the toughest yet. She is due in January, but is still connect to a tube that she has to eat through. Needless to say, she has decided to stop having babies. I think that she deserves a basket of enjoyment!!! When this baby comes, she needs to be reminded of this precious gift and not remember the tragedies…

I feel like one of the many side effects of pregnancy is (for me) a sudden insecurity about my quickly changing body. If I won this bag I would give one of the Intelligender’s Gender Prediction Test to my very close friend who is pregnant. She has had 3 miscarriages and we are praying that this time she will be able to carry the baby to full term. I would also use the gift card for the diaper cake for her baby shower that I will be throwing for her. The other items I would share with her and keep some for myself. My husband and I are in the process of adopting 2 babies. A baby boy within the next year from vietnam and then a baby girl in two years from China. We too tried for several years to get pregnant with #2 and had no luck so we decided to expand our family through adoption. We have a 3 1/2 year old who is such a blessing!

The trade show is March 3 & 4. I have been on bed rest since week 13 and have been banned from sex with my husband since week ten:( To make matters worse, one of the perinatologists working on my high risk pregnancy is my Father-in-law!! (It’s a total PIA!) Anyway, I thought this was going to be a blissful, happy, joyous time, but instead my first pregnancy has been filled with worry and emergency hospital stays. The Trade Show Dates are 3/3 & 3/4 2008, about a week before my due date. If I were to win this basket of goodies, it would be some of the first things that I have received for our baby. After five unsuccessful years of trying to conceive with no answer as to why it wasn’t happening, an ectopic pregnancy that was discovered on Christmas Eve, and a long 2+ year trek into the world of International Adoption with no baby in sight, we are finally and miraculously pregnant! It feels incredibly surreal for me to have made it this far into a pregnancy, so I have not really bought anything for our baby yet as I am still trying to convince myself that this is really happening. This beautiful gift basket would be a real treat for the baby and I, and at 18 weeks along, another reality check that we ARE going to have a much longed for baby!
BTW, I read CB every day- I have been anxious to see who my celebrity due date “partners” are going to be! Looks like Halle Barre, and possibly J Lo (?!) I enjoy watching how they’re doing as we head towards our due dates! Thanks for having this site~

The show is March 3 & 4, 2008. As much as I hate to be selfish I would keep this for myself. I am 18 weeks into my second (hopefully) successful pregnancy. After several losses, I really hope this one will work out. The stress is unbelievable because with my son I had to get everything ready but with this one I don’t have anything to keep my mind off of it. I think this is the first year I am really looking forward to the craziness of the holidays!! I keep trying to buy myself or the baby something, but everytime I freak out and put is back. It would be nice to get something for this pregnancy that I didn’t have to think about purchasing.

I have had a high risk pregnancy with numerous complications and have not splurged on anything extra. I represent a small, educational, volunteer run organization that sends products to parents in need. Since we are volunteer run, we are always in need of new items to send to moms and dads. We sent products all over the world and our goal is to provide new products to parents/parents-to-be who can’t afford to purchase items for their family and to make them feel special. The parents are truly appreciate when they receive the items and are so excited to see receive a new item, which makes them feel worthy. In return we ask them to write a short paragraph about what they liked about the product so that other parents can learn about the product, thus empowering them to contribute to a greater cause.

The trade show dates are March 3 & 4th, 2008. I was reading the previous posts and almost feel unworthy to add. But, I will say that I am pregnant with our second child and aside throwing up a few times and being nauseous, this has been an ideal pregnancy. What I really want from the basket is the gender predictor kit! My husband and I have gone round and round on this issue…he says that there are so few true surprises left in life and he wants this to be one. I get that, but I NEED to know! If I won this, I could know and he wouldn’t have to. That’s a WIN/WIN situation!

The Mom2B Las Vegas show is March 3 & 4. 2008. I think I deserve to win because I have suffered from hyper emesis since I first have found out that I was pregnant (currently 14 wks), been on unpaid leave from work for 2 mos, have a husband who had gastric bypass surgery complications and just plain deserve to win!!! While I am still fortunate than most, I can’t help but wallow in a little self pity especially when I hang my head over the toilet. This will be our third pregnancy, unfortunately we lost the second one and I would appreciate and love anything that would make me feel good right now!! Las Vegas Tradeshow, March 3 & 4, 2008. Why do I think I should win this giveaway? I’m not sure if I should win, but it would be nice to win something this extravagant. I know my comments won’t compare to some of the previous ones, and I definitely don’t feel like I deserve this gift bag over anyone else. I am 29 years old, I’m on my second marriage, and this is my first pregnancy. My first husband left me after 6 months after deciding another woman was better suited for him. I could go on to tell you about losing my mother 6 months after he walked out, which was also a little over one year before I was remarried. I could also tell you how this baby-to-be would have been a dream come true for her. However, I’m sure others could tell the same type of story, while others could even blow my story out of the water. This basket would come at a great time. My husband just lost his job and is currently trying to start up his own business, we live in a 3 bedroom house with my two step-children, and needless to say, money is pretty much non-existent at this point. Any pampering for me and my baby would be a bonus!

The trade show is March 3-4, 2008. If I won this incredible gift, I would keep it. I am currently pregnant with my 3rd child, and of course, will not be having a shower. Consequently, all the baby (& maternity)things are a little outdated and worn (my oldest is 6). In Michigan, our economy is pretty tight, and our taxes just went up, so I can’t foresee unlimited funds to help with this baby. Since I work full time, and will continue to do so after this child is born, I am definitely a “mom on the go”. I think each baby deserves a few things of his or her own, and this would be so wonderful for my little one!

I just had my second baby – a little girl. After I had my son, I truly didn’t think I would ever be able to get pregnant again and I was ok with that. The road to pregnancy with my son was long, emotional and at times painful one – having to use egg donors was even mentioned…so imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant with a little girl! I love diaper bags, so would proudly use this one along with all of the goodie inside. Since I am not planning on any more kids, I would give the gender prediction kit to my good friend who is 6 weeks along – perfect!

I forgot to mention why I think I deserve this prize. When I was 35 weeks pregnant my mother was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. I flew to Cleveland to be with her, thinking she would just have the surgery to remove the tumor and that’s it, but she developed a life-threatening bowel infection. I wasn’t even able to see her a few days after her initial surgery because the doctors didn’t want to chance me passing the infection on to my unborn child. She had a second surgery to remove the parts of her bowel that were dying from the infection and had a heart attack as they were closing her up. The following day (exactly one month before my due date) my father called from the hospital and told me that even though I wasn’t allowed to see her, her nurse thought I should come up and see her in case she didn’t make it. So I was almost nine months pregnant and in tears on my way to the hospital thinking that I wouldn’t see my mother again alive. She was swollen and hooked up to all of these machines and it was just horrible. When I was six weeks pregnant I thought I was going to miscarry due to bleeding I was experiencing, and I’d called my mom and she ended up praying really hard for us that our baby would be OK. When I was in the hospital room with her, I just thought, life can’t be this cruel. This woman prayed for this baby, her first grandchild, and now she may never be able to meet her. Later that day my mother’s kidney’s started to fail and the hospital had to rush this special machine in to remove waste from her body. They moved her to another ICU and weren’t hopeful at all that she would make it. The doctors thought her heart had sustained too much damage to keep her alive.
We had a baby shower the following day in spite of my mother’s illness because my mom insisted that we have one before her initial surgery. The day of our shower (June 30), we went by the hospital to see her. My father was already up there and the doctors wanted to discuss do not resuscitate options with us. So there we were an hour before our shower, with my mother in grave condition, discussing what options the doctors would perform if my mother crashed. We decided that she was fighting to stay alive and we would help her win that fight any way we could. We just couldn’t give up on her. The baby shower was bittersweet. My mom was unable to attend, my father was keeping vigil by my mom’s bedside, and numerous other relatives were at the hospital supporting my dad. My heart ached to be with them but we went through it because we knew that’s what she wanted for us. We had a moment of silence at the shower and asked everyone to please keep her and our family in her prayers.
She started to show signs of improvement the following day but her condition was still touch and go. We started driving back to CT that day and arrived home on Monday, my 32nd birthday. The focus was on my mother and her health so it didn’t feel like much of a birthday. A week later my mother was weaned off of the medications that kept her in a medically-induced coma. One of the first things she said was that she’d missed my birthday and she asked my dad if he’d given me my card. The next thing she asked was if I’d had the baby. She’s so amazing. She was so close to dying and her first questions were about us!
Now in mid-October, my mother was just released from an acute care rehab having spent close to four months in the hospital. She’s receiving home health care and is improving daily. While she was in the rehab facility, she asked my dad to bring books to her so she could read to my daughter. So when my daughter was awake I’d call my mom and she’d read to her. I just think she’s so strong and can’t thank the doctors and nurses at her hospital enough for doing everything they could to sustain her life. I think that seeing her heavily pregnant daughter really made them want to fight for her. Now my daughter will be able to have a relationship with this wonderful woman who brought me into the world. It was such a stressful period not having my mother with me at the end of my pregnancy and when I gave birth, but I’m so thankful and blessed that she’s still here.

i would love to have this bag. as a 22 year old recent college graduate and a single-mother to be i havent even had the chance to start shopping for my baby (due 1/26) because of financial circumstances. i am from ohio but moved to atlanta right after graduation before finding out i was 10weeks pregnant at the time iwas an intern and am now working 40+ hrs a week at Nordstroms. But this experience has been a blessed one although i dont have my family or friends here with me everyday because theyre back at home i know that the joy of my little boy will be overwhelmingly worth it and make me a better person….this bag would be a true gift to me and my little guy to be.

The MOM2BE Trade Show in Las Vegas is March 3rd and 4th. If I won this prize, I would be in heaven. This is my first child. One week after I found out that I was pregnant, my father-in-law died from a heart attack. He was the only grandfather my child would have. My father passed away in 1995. Emotions have been crazy. Everyone is very happy for us but I know my husband misses his father as do I. I’m working full time and going to school so it would be great to have a special package just for me. I have gone through the ups and downs life can throw you throughout this pregnancy along with all of the other fab mamas who posted here. Hubby lost his job, I was a victim of a hit and run, and some other bizarre life events really overshadowed what is supposed to be a very joyful time in one’s life. However, I finally have gotten to a place of happiness where I realize that things happen, and no matter what I should CELEBRATE the impending birth of my baby boy and look at the bright side of things. When life throws you lemons, you must make lemonade! I would love to win this gift basket as I feel it would be one more symbol of how my attitude has changed from being scared and depressed about what “could” happen during this pregnancy and with the birth of my son, to being optimistic and looking forward to a future that is filled with promise and excitement and a brand new baby boy.

We live in New Orleans and just finished (yesterday!) the final rebuilding/renovation to the hurricane damages caused by Katrina. It’s very interesting to be on bed rest, with an eight year old and renovating at the same time…phew! I get tired just thinking about it

I would use this lovely gift basket toward the domestic violence shelter that I worked for. Although, I do not have kids, I know abused mothers or mothers to be that are in need of any help. These mothers come to the shelter with no penny to their name. And with the staff and supplies being cut short due to funding, I’m sure this basket would be of great use and will be very much appreciated by the moms and kids.

I recently gave birth to my second, beautiful child, so the bag actually wouldn’t go to me. My cousin and close friend was pregnant at the same time as me–with twins–and suffered a horrible miscarriage in June. Despite her sadness over her loss, she has been a great help to me while I was in preterm labor, while I was in hospital, and since I brought my son home.
She called me Sunday to tell me that she had a positive test, and I would love to be able to shower her with such an incredible gift basket. She truly deserves every bit of it.

The show is March 3 & 4, 2008. I would use the bag to get me through to the end of my pregnancy. I have had a very stressful pregnancy where I was really sick and had to work a full time job through it all. I so need to pamper myself.

March 3 & 4 in Vegas. I would love to win this for a friend who is pregnant with twins and on bedrest. I would definitely cheer her up!
