"I was too emotional [when I was pregnant]. I cried at the drop of a hat. It’s Hallmark commercials, it’s anything you could possibly imagine. Not even Hallmark. It’s a coffee commercial, and they pick up [the cup of coffee] and I’d go [crying] ‘Ooooh, it’s coffee!’"

Rumer Willis learning to live in the spotlight

Rumer Willis, 19, knows what it is like to be in the limelight.  She is the oldest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, but now she is becoming a star in her own right. And while she may not like being in the spotlight so much, she knows it is all part of the game.

Before I started working, I would have said, ‘You know, it’s not really fair, because I didn’t choose this.’ But when you decide to be a part of this profession and put yourself out there, then you kind of have to accept what it is.

The actress knows that she has to be on guard at all times now with the paparazzi.

It’s a 24-hour job. It doesn’t matter if you are going out to a restaurant –- you have to be aware of what you are doing and how you look and how you are presenting yourself, because most of the time people never get to know you.

Rumer’s not worried about living in the spotlight and neither are her parents or stepfather Ashton Kutcher.

I think they know that I’ve had great role models.

Another reason that her parents may not be worried is Rumer has her own opinion of what celebrity means.

Being famous isn’t going to parties — it’s about being able to use the power that we all have to kind of give back.

And that is just what she did at the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation’s annual Dream Halloween benefit recently.  She was presented with a Rumer Willis Polly Pocket Doll and helped auction it off for $5,500 to benefit the foundation. After seeing the doll, she jokingly replied,

I feel like I’m really famous now.

Rumer has two younger sisters, Scout, 16, and Tallulah, 13.

Man did she get the bad part of the genes. :(

I don’t understand why anyone cares about Rumer Willis. What has she done besides be born of famous parents who aren’t even that famous? She hasn’t done a single thing noteworthy to the outside world and she’s not even attractive. What a media creation.

  3. Danika Says:

Huh? What exactly is she famous for??
