The text reads:
Hello! I am Katalina Nahum Spanic.
I want to thank God for the beautiful miracle that he made happen for my mommy and me.
For my mom for fighting so much so that I may live and to the thousands of people around the world that made their hopes heard for us.
Your prayers were answered and soon I will be with you.
Thanks to everyone, may God bless you!

That’s a little different. With all do respect I find it to be a little creepy. Nice sentiment though. Glad they are both doing well. When is the baby due?

I see that the baby will have her last name, with dad’s as a middle name. Is that the tradition in Venezuela or is that a typo? Would it be switched if they were having a boy? I find it interesting how different cultures have different naming conventions.

How cute.
Looks like she is going to look like her daddy.

Its Gabriela Spanic, not Daniela

Finnaryn,
in south america, we use both parents last names, so in this case the name of the baby is Katalina and Nahum Spanic are both last names (always dad’s last name first and then mom’s last name)

To finnaryn:
I’m from Puerto Rico and in most latin countries the fathers’ last name comes first (in this case Nahum) and then the mothers’ last name (Spanic). We all have two last names, bust the fathers’ always comes first, doesn’t matter the sex.
Sorry for any writing mistakes.

What a great way to honor both parents!
Thank you for explaining. I had never heard that before.
