A look inside Jax and Jaid Nilon’s jungle
Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon welcomed her twin sons Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas on October 18th, but in the last weeks before their birth (engagement and wedding rings strung on a chain!), she posed in their nursery for In Touch. The actress, 40, described the nursery in a September interview as ‘really colorful, without being full-on Disney.’
The boys will share a room, and will share a crib for the firstthree months, or until they "let me know" they’re ready for their owncrib. The books say they’ll let me know! But their room is a zoo theme, with giraffes and monkeys and zebras painted on the yellow walls.
Since the birth, Garcelle is just focusing on getting to know her new sons.
I want to spend time with my kids rather than a trainer. The body needs time to heal, and it will happen naturally.

We kept our twin boys in the same pack n play for first month-month and a half, then gradually got them use to their own cribs. They actually slept better once separated. Also nice to see her have such a realistic view on getting her body back. My twins are 7 and i’m still working out to lose the weight lol.

I really like her, she seems to have her priorities straight.
And I love, love, love this nursery!

I love the nursery and the fact that they’ll both have their own cribs. Nothing against twins sharing, but it’s also good that they can have their own beds sometimes. They’ll still be close even in their own cribs.
And the nursery is adorable!
