Prince Lionheart’s Wheely Bug and Bebepod Plus
I recently was able to check out Prince Lionheart’s Wheely Bug and Bebepod Plus with tray.
My two year old, Ben, went nuts over the Wheely Bug (we tested out the Bee- small version). You can get either the Wheely Bug (ladybug), cow or bee. You can also get a small version (for $59), for a 1.5 year old or a larger version (for $69) for a 3 year old. Weight limit is 50 lbs.
First of all, I loved that this Australian-made product is "kid powered". No batteries needed and no obnoxious flashing lights/music. It’s made of wood, with 1 inch layer of "padded sponge". No pvc and non-toxic. Easily cleanable too!. And the caster wheels went in every direction!! Ben, who is a small 2 year old, fit on it nicely (and even obeyed me to hang onto the handle). My husband described it as a "baby skateboard" (though you sit on it). Ben kept calling it a dragonfly, but is so crazy about it!! You can to be careful if your little one goes from carpet to hardwood floors on it, it can tip. After about a day, Ben was able to handle it on any suface, as he went from a carpeted room to the hardwood floor. He just knew to be careful. This is one of the best toys we have added to our house.

The Bebepod Plus ($59) will be used with our upcoming baby. I love it because it is so soft and will help baby girl sit up. It comes with a tray, two placemats (one with a watermelon print, the other polka dots) and a toy by Sassy that attaches to the tray. Remember to keep the Bebepod on the floor!
Since Ben did not sit up on his own until he was 8 months (though he starting pulling himself up the next month), so we could have really used this product when he was a baby!

I totally agree with you … the wheely bug is one of the best toys out there. My 1 & 4 year old have literally been using them for 2 weeks straight… the LOVE them! It’s not common to find a toy that just gets used over and over again! This is definitly a favorite in our house. My 1.5 year old has the small and my 4 year old has the large – and they are perfectly sized for each of them.

I have the chair and it stinks. I couldn’t get rid of strong plastic smell even after several washing. The chair is very comfortable.
