Update: Hunter Tylo mourns loss of son Mickey
Update: Hunter’s son Chris has written in to let us know how much the Tylo family appreciates your support at this difficult time.
Hello everyone, this is Mickey’s brother Chris. I would like to thank everyone for their comments and support. I show Mom comments as much as I can and have her read everything to show how supportive everyone is. Once again, thank you all so very much, it means a lot to me and my family.

Originally posted October 19th: We are saddened to report that The Bold and the Beautiful star Hunter Tylo, 45, is mourning the loss of her son, who passed away in Nevada last evening. Michael ‘Mickey’ Tylo Jr., 19, suffered a ‘medical event,’ stemming from a seizure disorder, and fell unconscious into a swimming pool, where he subsequently drowned.
The coroner released the following statement:
It has already been determined that this was an accident. Looking at the report, it appears that he fell in the poolafter having some sort of medical event. It says on the report that hehad a seizure disorder.
Hunter has three other children — Christopher, 27, Izabella Gabrielle, 10 1/2, and Katya Ariel, 9 1/2.

I was shocked and saddened to hear this. I feel so bad for Hunter and her family. My thoughts are with them at this time.
It’s an eerie coincidence that her B&B character, Taylor, just gave birth a few days ago to a baby boy. Sad.

I feel so bad for Hunter. I remember years ago her daughter katya had cancer in her right eye and needed surgery, and last year hunter and her husband michael were breaking up, and now this. Poor Hunter has been through a lot. My prayers are with hunter and their family.

This family has had more its share of hard time. Her being fired from Melrose Place for being pregnant, then her daughter’s eye cancer, now this. My heart goes out to them!

Shelby: in the people.com photo, Hunter’s two daughters are in the white and yellow shirts. The other young girls are the daughters or Lorenzo Lamas. I don’t know who the older girl is though.

Oh my that is so sad! It’s also ironic that lately I’ve been watching old episodes of Zorro where Michael Tylo played the infamous Alcalde, in 1990-91/92, and now his son is gone! That is so sad! (If he was anything like his father in the looks dept., it’s a loss to the world.)
Hopefully the Tylo family will be able to get through this latest tragedy smoothly.
(I also hope that Michael Jr. really did have a medical condition, and not that he was just another celeb teen/young adult partier who died a’la Keith Moon or whatever.)

I am James from Kingston Jamaica. and my heart goes out to Hunter Tylo, wow what can i say, i am really shock to hear this kind of traumatic news. Just Last evening i was looking at the photo of Hunter and her family that she sent me. I pray that Jesus gives you the strenght to go on, you are very special to me. and i encourage you that you turn your eyes on the Lord, only him (God) alone can give you the strentgh and courage to go on.

My Thoughts and Prayers goes out to you Hunter Tylo and your family members.in the midst of life their is Death, wow it is so shocking, i really don’t what to say, but i pray and Trust that the Lord Jesus will give you the strent to go on. in everything you have to give God thanks, thank God for the 19 years that he was in your life, it is so hard to loose a love one that you love so dearly. i will say a little prayer for you and your family.

thats so sad. this is just they way my nephew died – when he was 16 he had a seizure in the swimming pool went 2 a coma then died

I am very sorry for the loss of your son. I, like so many others, have lost children, so I know your pain. It is not natural for children to go before their parents. Cherish his sweet life, he was here for a reason! I believe we are here to learn lessons, we have to go through so much. We blame God, doubt God, curse God. I am not religious but consider myself to be spiritual. I do believe in a higher power and know there is something out there. We are here to learn so hopefully we will accept and understand why things happen as they do. Remember him, love him, accept his journey onward… with love and blessings
