Christina Aguilera celebrates first of three baby showers
There was lots of the color blue Saturday at an intimate baby shower held at the home of Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman. Close friends and family, including fellow singers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, reportedly gifted the couple — expecting their first child in early January — with Trumpette Johnny’s socks ($24 for 6 pairs), a blue Loved Mom Guitar shirt ($45), a Sozo Whiz Kid wee block ($13) and a Cariboo mahogony bassinet ($360) with Tag Blue dot bedding from Babystar ($124), leaving little doubt about the baby’s sex.
Some of the other items from her Bel Bambini registry that Christina received included: A Timi and Leslie Femme Chic ($450) quilted leather diaper bag, a Svan Highchair in mahogony ($224) with an orange cushion ($34) and a Dot Velour with Asian Ruffle blanket from My Blankee($66). Christina also received a Stokke Xplory Stroller ($999)in turquoise.
In photos from x17 agency, we can see that the theme for the shower was ‘Christina’s Kiddyland Carnival.’ Tables were decorated with blue and white balloon bunches, with red Chinese lanterns criss-crossing above. T-shirts for the event featured a cartoon baby with a super-imposed image of Jordan’s head. According to People, Christina, now in her 8th month, will have two additional showers in the near future.

That baby is so a boy, I have said it from the start and I still believe it. Can’t wait for CBB to confirm it when he is born, and to see if the rumors are right and he will be named jordan

I KNEW it! I don’t know why, but I’ve been thinking “boy” the whole time for her. I think maybe it’s because she was barely showing for so long – I was the same way (and am roughly the same height as Christina) and had a boy.

I remember at Kate Hudson’s baby shower folks were seen leaving with pink goody bags and there were pink balloons and the story ran that she and Chris were having a girl and they ended up having a boy.
Now I would say if you giving boy gifts it’s more likely to be a boy (esp. since Christina and Jordan do know the sex) but I wouldn’t jump to anything now a days with all these “reports”.
Either way I can’t wait to see the little baby boy or girl!

Hmm..sounds a little TOO obviously a boy…maybe they are trying to throw the media off and the next set of showers will be all pink LOL…It will be fun to find out.

Kit- ITA! After all, their registry at Petite Tressor (which WAS registered under Christina Bratman) had practically all pink stuff! I think they are just trying to throw the media off!

Could be a boy.. BUT still could be a girl. I remember when Kate Hudson was pregnant. She threw off the photogs when she had a PINK baby shower.

It would not make sense to not let the sex of the baby be known and then have obvious gender colored baby showers. 50/50 either way.

M- No way she’s having twins! If she is, then they are going to be extremely tiny little babies! I mean, her bump isn’t big enough for twins to be in it! And if she was having twins and having one of each, wouldn’t she have gotten boy AND girl gifts at her shower?

If it is a boy it will not be named after his father, Jordan is Jewish.
