Here are a few of my favorite (baby) things: JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me — Because Baby It’s Cold Outside
My daughter was born in February, and in February around here it’s still freezing. So I knew I had to get her a bunting. My mom purchased us asnowsuit but I knew that you had to be careful with snowsuits andcarseats. So I debated the JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me ($50).
It was one of thelast things on my registry and I hadn’t gotten around to getting itwhen I went in to labor. Ironically it arrived while I was in thehospital but I didn’t open it until we got home. So the snowsuit got ushome from the hospital. But from then on I used the Bundle Me. I wentwith the Bundle Me Urban in Ice and it was perfect.
The outer ismade of quilted nylon that protects against wind and rain. And theinner is made of microsuede that warmth and even a touch of style. My daughterseemed to like how soft it was against her skin and I liked that Ididn’t have to layer blankets on her and worry that they might falloff. The handy zipper closure ensures that the child stays bundled inand nothing falls out. Best of all it can pull up all the way to thetop of the seat, helping shield baby from snow and rain!
When she outgrew her infant one I purchased a toddler one and this is oneitem I recommend for anyone. If you don’t live in an area that getssuper-cold, they make light-weight versions, too. I’ve noticed these items pop up on sale all the time, especially as the seasonsdraw to an end, so keep an eye on the sales and try to buy ahead.

JJ cole Bundle Me could be considered a safety risk when added to an infant seat.
Example http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/childsafety/notices/Dser/d200401/menu.htm
Bronwyn’s Note:
Tina, I totally understand your concern! And I made sure to check on the safeness of this cover before even using it, let alone posting it. JJ Cole has this on the following info on their website:
“Crash Tested – FMVSS 213
Tests performed on infant car seats with the Bundle Me installed found that the car seats complied with the Restraint System Integrity and Occupant Excursion portions of the FMVSS 213 requirements.”
I would NEVER do anything that compromised the safety of my child in her seat. One thing I liked about this cover was how thin it was, making it much easier to pull the straps quite close to my child. If anyone has any concerns they should certainly call the manufacturer of their carseat and even JJ Cole. Thanks for questioning though Tina! I love people who care.

FMVSS 213 test is performed to test the safety of car seats. If item pass the test it MUST affix the national safety mark/certification on the product issued by department of transportation. JJcole bundle me is NOT certified and doesn’t meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213. I have one of those bundles and I didn’t find any FMVSS 213 certification by department of transportation.
I even went on jjcole website and it says that “Tests performed on infant car seats”. So the bundle me itself wasn’t tested. If it was, that it would have the certification.
For example, you can place banana pill and test the car seat, it doesn’t make banana pill safe or
I can put a garbage can into the car seat and do the same test and claim that the car seats complied with the Restraint System Integrity and Occupant Excursion portions of the FMVSS 213 requirements.

I LOVE LOVE this stroller blanket. I got the toddler one for Ben as a gift when he was a baby, and at 2 years, 4 months, we still use it today. My hack: I took mitten clips to attach it to the stroller so it doesn’t slide down (that drove me crazy)..
