Michael Michele on sharing sports with Brandon and heading back to work
Actress Michael Michele, 41, is back on TV screens with a role on House, and the timing couldn’t be better — her son J. Brandon will be turning 3-years-old next month.
I really focused on my son’s life for the last two and a halfyears, and he’s off to preschool soon and Mommy’s getting back intobusiness full time.
When they are together, favorite activities for mother and son include anything sports related.
We watch football and soccer together, andI’ve already been out on the basketball court with my little boy. Igrew up in Indiana, so sports are in my blood. I’m thankful, because if I had to exercise for the sake of exercising, that would never happen!

I always wanted to see what her baby looked like – What a handsome young man! I guess she was pregnant while on that tv show with Taye Diggs. I’m glad Michael Michele is back at work.

I admire her staying away from big acting projects so she could be home with J. Brandon. But I’m glad she’s getting back to work now. I was wishing for more things with her when she did the guest sting on Law and Order: SVU earlier this year.

I’m a huge House fan, so seeing her on last week’s show — and then finding out she’s going to be a regular — was thrilling. Does she call her son J. Brandon or just Brandon? What does the J. stand for?
Sarah’s note: Her ex’s first name is Jimmy, so it may be a play off of that or in place of his given name…She seems to call him Brandon though.
