Heidi Klum received diapering lessons from Britney Spears
During a chance encounter at a Halloween party, like many new mothers, Britney Spears and Heidi Klum found themselves talking babies. Little did Heidi know that the conversation would prove to be so beneficial, both for herself and her three children, Leni, 3 1/2, Henry, 2, and Johan, 11-months. She joked,
We were talking about babies and diapers and she explained to me a lot of things about diapers I that didn’t know. You know these sticky things on the side? I never knew that they were there. To close them in the front, I was always putting string around. I had no idea.
Added Heidi, "It’s very clever. I learned a lot of things."

This was a JOKE on the Ellen show.
Sarah’s note: Of course, did people think it was serious? That’s why Missy categorized it under ‘ha ha.’ I hope people understand that! If a reader ever has a question as to if something is serious or joking, look at the categories we put the post in (they’re in the blue box under the source).

Ha, I love Heidi.
Now before we have any comments like the Rachel Weisz post last night, everyone is clear that this is also a joke, right?

I hope to god she is kidding.

Looks like I was too late. Sometimes I feel like CBB readers don’t have a sarcasm detector! It’s funny people, I swear.

Yea I watched the ellen show, that was funny. Ellen asked her you invited britney to your halloween party but not me, and heidi said britney wasn’t invited but she came anyway lol.

Heidi is actually pretty funny. On Regis and Kelly she was talking about putting candles in the turkey for Johan’s first birthday just to get it all done and over with at once!!
I have to say though when I first read it I was like, “are you serious,” so I clicked for comments to find that it was just a joke! I was going to say, how can nobody not know that and poor Heidi for making it more difficult on herself! LOL

i hope to God that was sarcasm.

Please, of course its a joke. Now, if the roles were reversed and Britney was learning about diapering from Heidi, then I could totally buy it!!

I am sooo glad you made it clear it was a joke, I knew it was, Heidi is really funny as is Seal (that British sense of humor) but look at what happened with Rachel’s son Henry yesterday people totally don’t get it when celebs joke!

It’s sometimes difficult to detect sarcasm written on the page, there are no facial expressions or other cues to go by. Had I watched the Ellen episode, I’m sure it would have been more obvious than reading it here.

That’s hilarious!
So is the comment about Brittney not being invited, but showing up.
I didn’t realize that Heidi was this funny.

M… Heidi isn’t british.. She is german.. so it would be german humor.. sorry ahead of time if i miss read you
So was Heidi really joking about Britney not bing invited or was she serious?

On the main page there isnt a ha-ha tag so from just reading the main page it is understandable that ppl think this is for real.

Dana I think heidi was serious about that part, about britney not being invited but coming anyway. The diaper thing I was able to tell it was totally a joke, but the not being inviting part seemed true when she said it.

Wow I’m surprised Heidi was joking about another celebrity so rudely like that. Even though she was joking, still, celebrities are usually sticking up for eachother. Or at least not talking about them.
