"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

Update: Jennie Garth on baby weight and preparing for baby number 4

90210 alum and Dancing With the Stars contestant Jennie Garth sat down with Us Weekly to discuss her decision to do the show, having another baby, her daughters, and how dancing has affected her body.

Click below for the interview highlights.

DWtS contestant Jennie Garth, 35, isa mother of three, but she is secretly looking forward to thepossibility of baby number 4. Jennie, who admits that all of theirgirls have been happy surprises, thinks she knows what the future holds, given her husband’s latest behavior.

[Peter] said, ‘It’s like I got a new car!’ He can’t keep his hands off me. To the point that it’s like, enough!

I’ve lost weight and I’m looking great. And I know me. I’ll justgo get pregnant again. I actually secretly look forward to [it].

Jennie’s husband, actor Peter Facinelli, 33, has a different insight into why the actress would like to be pregnant again.

So that she could eat and have ice cream. I thought she was so sexy when she was pregnant.

And while the couple has three daughters — Luca Bella, 10, Lola Ray, 4, and Fiona Eve, 13 months — they are not hoping for a boy, as many expect couples with children of the same sex to be. Peter stated,

I only make girls.

Speaking of, they love to watch their mom on the show.

My kids all watch the show. Luca comes every other week. Lola’s bummed because she’s too young to sit in the audience.

On the topic of weight, Jennie keeps things in perspective.

I’d gained about 35 lbs in pregnancy, and I still had maternity weight to lose. I hate those women who lose weigh quickly after having a baby! I’m not that way. I hold on to a good layer of insulation.

Fiona’s birth was the first time I had a baby when I wasn’t on camera at work, so I wasn’t under pressure to get back in shape quickly. I spent the first six months not really worrying about it.

I’m always happy with my body. If I’m chubby, I love it. I like to touch my love handles! After having Fiona, it was a lot harder for me to lose the weight. It was a slow process. I’m not a person who loves to work out. I’d rather be baking a cake or something. I couldn’t lose those last 5 lbs, even though I was doing Pilates regularly.

[I've lost 10 lbs since the show started], but it’s moreabout the inches and toning. My jeans were a 29 when I started, and I’mwearing a 27 now. It’s great to be able to go to theback of my closet and get the clothes I wore [prebaby].

  1. Bella Mama Says:

it’s odd.. because i was watching her on the last episode of DWTS and i thought she kinda had a baby bump…

  2. michelle Says:

I love her and Peter. Their family is adorable. It would be cool if she got pregnant again. I love her and love everything she does.

  3. madison Says:

how adorable is that little fiona?? soo cute

  4. Emeline Says:

It would be wonderful if Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli expecting baby 4 in the future.
It’s a great words of them. it’s just a wonderful couple.

  5. Emeline Says:

this picture is wonderful!! Jennie was great and Fiona is so cute.
I hope that they have another baby in the future…it’s just a wonderful couple!!

  6. Ivey Says:

I love Peters’ comments, that he loves Jenny preggers and that he only makes girls.

Sounds like she caught herself a good one!!!

  7. gianna Says:

Oh yea if they have anther baby, it will defintley be anther girl IMO.

  8. Emeline Says:

me too, I love the comments of Peter lol. it’s just a wonderful declarations lol

  9. Harley Says:

In what world does she wear a 27? lol…I just don’t see it. Either way, she’s gorgeous and such a mom, God love him for loving her preggo :) It’s adorable to see the guys get gushy.

Sarah’s note: Jeans such as Sevens, Citizens, etc are sized by waist. A size 27 is equal to about a 4 on me so I assume Jennie is around the same. It can definitely be confusing if you aren’t used to the measurements!

  10. Melissa Says:

I love her and Fiona is adorable!

  11. Natasha Says:

imagine if they had one, wow it would feel great to not be wanted.

I’m not saying they wouldn’t love their son, but saying you don’t WANT a boy…

Sarah’s note: Peter didn’t say they don’t want a boy though. People asked if they wanted a boy, and he said he only makes girls, which seems to be true!

  12. Lauren Says:

“Sarah’s note: Jeans such as Sevens, Citizens, etc are sized by waist. A size 27 is equal to about a 4 on me so I assume Jennie is around the same. It can definitely be confusing if you aren’t used to the measurements!”

I agree. I wear a size 27 (sometimes a 28 depending if the brand runs small, like Diesel and Guess) also, and when I first started buying jeans like that, I was like, “Okay, it’s great that they’re making jeans for women to fit into, but what am I supposed to wear??” Lol! I was never exactly sure what the conversation was, though (whether a 27 was equal to a 2 or a 4).

    Their dresses are adorable!

  13. AnOldieButaGoodie Says:

I’ve always liked Jennie and i love the family she has built. Bless them

  14. gianna Says:

Natasha I actually think peter would like to have a boy, but he says he only makes girls because given his track record that’s what it’s been and if they have anther child, there’s a good chance they can have a 4th girl. He probably feels if he says yea I want a boy, he will end up with anther girl. Most people though after having 3 girls or 3 boys, would love to experience having a different sex as I’m sure jennie and peter would, but maybe they have this gut feeling they will just have girls.

  15. terri Says:

Well I’m happy to hear a couple that seem to be happy with what they have. If they have another girl I’m sure they’d be just as happy as if it were a boy.

  16. PSB Says:

I love her! They are so cute and I feel like I’ve grown up with her, since I was actually the age they were supposed to be in 90210. Her daughters are cute and it’s nice, for once, to hear parents say they don’t care if they have another son/daughter after having three of the same sex in a row. I can imagine that Peter must love having all of those ladies doting on him all the time.

In the same article, Jennie says she loves her body no mater what, and when she has rolls, she loves to pinch them. What a great body image! She’ really an inspiration. I wish I could be on a non-celeb version of Dancing With the Stars to help me lose my baby weight.

  17. Elyse Says:

What a refreshing article! This family seems to be so grounded and has such great values. I sure hope I find a guy like Peter someday!! ;^)

  18. Lea Says:

I always did love Jennie Garth. I think it’s because she is not the typical hollywood sterotype. She always did it on her own and never “married up” to advance her career, like many actresses do. I love that dress her baby is wearing.

  19. J.J. Says:

It would so nice if they had another baby!! For some reason I’m thinking that if they were pregnant again, it would be a boy this time because I heard that after having three kids of the same gender, the fourth child, if you have one, would be the opposite sex. I have a gut feeling about that. But still, whether it is a boy or a girl, that baby will be beautiful!

  20. madison Says:

I like their attitude – they talk about wanting another child, not a particular gender. In terms of the chances of having another girl vs a boy – I find this topic fascinating and have done some reading on it. Here’s a good site with lots of info –

    http://www.in-gender.com/XYU/Odds/Gender_Odds.aspx

The odds of having four children – same gender – are only at 12.5%. Each baby you have your odds are still right around 50/50 for girls vs boy. There are slight deviations based on what you’ve already had – but only a few percentage points. They seem like a stable and happy family – boy, girl, its all good!

  21. angelbaby33 Says:

Isn’t sizing that that usually related the the number of inches the waist is. Size 27 = 27 inch waist on the jeans, etc. That’s how most guy jeans are. A 34X36 is a waist that is 34 inches and a length of 36 inches. Anyhow- Jennie Garth is AWESOME!

  22. MOM2boys Says:

I love Fiona, she is so beautiful and I just want to pinch those cute cheeks.
I know what they mean about not necessarily wanting a boy….I have 2 boys, and if I have another child, a boy would be just as welcome as a girl.
    What a beautiful family!

  23. legemc Says:

I am the only girl in a family of 6 so everyone always thinks I am the youngest and that my parents kept having babies until they got a girl, but I’m actually 2nd oldest. Each time my mom got pregnant I wished for a sister, but it was 4 more boys!

  24. xena Says:

this little girl is such a cute. I still have to see a more happy baby. In the two pictures I saw so far of her she looks amazing and happy.

  25. editorjax Says:

I love that Fiona is wearing a dress from The Children’s Place (summer ‘07). I bought it for my niece. I love when celeb kids are in regular, everyday clothes! Jennie’s girls are always adorable and age-appropriate.

  26. jen Says:

We have 4 children and they’re all girls. They’re ages are 8 years 6 years 2 1/2 and 15 months. We wanted a girl every time and were lucky enough to get them.

  27. Toontown Says:

I don’t believe the fact that they don’t hope for a boy. It’s obvious that they hope for a boy after 3 girls, they simply don’t wanna say it. Of course it’s funny he says he only makes girls. So far it’s true.

  28. Maya Says:

With such cuties, I’d also like to be making only girls. I mean, look at their beautiful family – can you really blame him/them??

  29. Maya Says:

Toontown: I disagree. I have friends with 4 boys, and when they were trying for their 4th, they flat out said that they want another boy. Why is it so hard to believe that Jenny and her hubby would want another girl? They make beautiful girls!

  30. Maya Says:

And btw, I only want girls too (I have one, and I want another one). Does that mean that if I had a boy I wouldn’t love him? No – it doesn’t! Please get over yourselves. Sheesh!

  31. gianna Says:

Toontown I totally agree with you.

  32. ang Says:

it’s always a messy topic.u love who u get, boy, girl, puppy, alien, whatever comes out. just because someone asks u, doesn’t mean “im hellbent on getting a girl, ill send it back if it’s not”. it’s just 1 of those questions. if someone asks when u toss a coin whether u want heads or tails, u don’t go “heads.or else.” most people r just happy they can have a child at all & don’t turn out like drew barrymore in “riding in cars with boys”.that movie is so sad. i am 1 of those chicks who runs around baby stores & toy stores getting clucky over baby stuff. anyhoo, when i was younger i was like “i really want to have a girl someday-a little me”. then i thought “what if i have a boy? can i love him the same?” so i started getting into the boy stuff & now i know if i got knocked up tomorrow, i’d be fine with either.or both!(twins run in my family)=p

  33. Emeline Says:

Maybe they hope a boy for the next pregnancy but they are very happy as if they have another girl!! It’s such a wonderful couple and a beautiful family!!

  34. Cara Says:

toontown…..i can completely believe the fact that they don’t want a boy. i am a mom to 3 boys and i am DYING to have a 4th. everyone assumes that it is because i want a girl, but the simple truth is that i have ZERO desire for a little girl. i think girls are awesome, but i LOVE having boys. love love love it. i would be so VERY happy to have a 4th boy.

  35. doeadear Says:

They seem like such a happy couple and a beautiful family. Peter has been so supportive of her during this entire DWTS journey.

If Peter and Jennie said they wanted a boy, people would criticize them for trying to have a boy. When Peter says they are not trying for a boy, that he’d be happy with a girl, that’s construed as saying he doesn’t “want” a boy. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

  36. Jes Says:

Wow, so much attention taken to waist size and arguing about whether they want a boy or not! Maybe they just want another baby and they will be happy with what they get! Imagine that! =) I hope they do have another little one. They seem like great parents and great partners in life.

  37. kboneillo Says:

1st off jennie is so small, i would totally believe she was a 27, that dress just makes her look bigger because she is bending down, if you read the full article in the printed mag you would see other pictures where she is so small, i wish i will look like her after my first child much less three!!!!
    she is beautiful!!
and as for whether they want a boy or girl is none of our business, they love their children, that is very apparent, and they will be good parents no matter…..i just love being updated on jennie because i think she still has a career if she wanted one and cant wait to hear what she will do next…i hope she gets another tv show!!!!!

  38. Lisa Says:

She rocks & you have to remember that the cameras add weight…everyone in Hollywood is TINY in person (even the ones people think are ‘normal’ or ‘bigger’)…they are all smaller than the every day soccer mom. Even the hottest soccer moms…LOL

I mean everything over a single digit (10, 12) is considered a ‘larger woman’ in Hollywood…so that should tell you right there that if Jenny is a 4 now and feeling skinny then she most surely is a 4. She was ‘Hollywood chubby’ at her 6 or 8 (her size 29)and don’t forget she isn’t super tall.

    It’s sad, but so true!

I was SO glad she didn’t get voted off last night.

  39. Melissa Kelleher Says:

    Hi Jennie,

I do not usually watch celebrity type shows, but you caught my interest as I am a lover of true country and blue grass, Alison Kraus……

After looking at the “true you:” this is what is available via the internet…

You really look like you love your family, and I mean husband and girls. I was divorced young because of a cruel husband………..
I have two young daughters from that marriage, they are so beautiful today, I love them so much. …

I have watched you on the Dancing with Stars……. I honestly believe the reason you cannot give all of you to it is because you truly give all of you to your family… it is hard to divide passion….. and love…

I respect you so much in that you will not sell yourself for victory…. Just be you, if you when ,,, fine,,,, if you do not ,,, you have already won… husband that loves you and three daughters…

    Keep things in perspective.

    Always true,

    Melissa Kelleher
