"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Christina Aguilera on her baby boy (and those heels)!

Christinaaguilera_b_gr_07_cbb_2Seems like the Christina Aguilera guessing game may be over — she confirmed the pregnancy last week, then celebrated with a blue-themed shower. Still, some fans thought she may have been pulling a Kate Hudson, who kept everyone in the dark back in 2003 with a pink baby shower to welcome son Ryder. However, the 26-year-old songstress, speaking with the press at the Rock the Vote event she attended last evening, referred to her baby-to-be as ‘he.’

We do [have a baby on the way] and we are [ready for parenthood]. That’s why it’s even more important for me now to bring this baby into a world that he knows…that I do care about.

Nevertheless, the admission seemed to be a slip of the tongue. She paused after realizing what she said, and when asked to confirm that the baby is a boy, Christina laughed and said, ‘I guess we’ll see, right?

She also addressed her much-discussed penchance for high heels and the way fashion helped her hide her belly for her first six months.

I’m always able to work my heels! Idon’t care how big or small I am! I think Halle Barry is right. I just saw her at aparty, and she said fashion is on our side. The empire cut is workin’right now!

Christina and husband Jordan Bratman expect their baby in early January. Click the AH link to watch a video.

I saw that, it was very cute. It reminded me when jennifer garner was on leno, and let it slip about violet being a girl. I always thought christina was having a boy. As for heels and dressing, I love how pregnant celebrities dress with the heels and trendy clothes. Halle, christina, nicole they all dress like they always dress, just a bigger size and that’s really cool. I’m not much into maternity clothes, so I like to see the type of clothes the celebrities wear while pregnant.

I for some reason got a girl vibe from her. But then again, you never know, she might be throwing everyone off. I had a yellow themed shower but I knew I was having a girl.

  3. Annoyomus Says:

I also thought that she was going to have a girl. I know that it is possible that she could be throwing the press off…But considering that her calling the baby “he” seemed to be a slip of the tongue, I’m guessing that the baby really is a boy.

Anyway, so it looks like I was wrong about the gender of her baby. I also guessed that Nicole Richie’s baby will be a girl….Now we’ll have to see if I end up being right about that! :)

  4. Dina Says:

Good for her! After about my 5 month I had to retire my heals. My feet swelled so much the only thing I could wear were flip flops (and that was pushin it!). I love the fact she rocks the heels (and is always dressed so cute). Can’t wait to see her little one!

  5. jazzy Says:

maybe she isnt due in early january; maybe she is due in (late) december, thus a blue birthstone and a blue baby shower… lol I had ‘blue’ my entire childhood (a blue room, blue clothes, ect) and i thought it was because my parents wanted a boy, but then i realized it was because of my birthstone… My sister, on the other hand, had a ‘pink’ childhood (but thats her birthstone)..and yes, that added to my childhood confusion…Ironically, blue is one of my favorite colors

  6. J.M. Says:

okay knowing the sex of you child you don’t accidentally say “he”…I think it’s a boy now although she could still try to be throwing people off. But I think the slip kind of gave it away!!

  7. pink.lioness Says:

I also thought her baby is a girl. But maybe the baby really is a girl anyway and Christina said ‘he’ on purpose rather than letting it slip accidentally, knowing that everybody would then wrongly assume that her baby is a boy?
    LOL

  8. Loving Music Says:

I just think they are going to be wonderful parents. With the color scheme for the baby shower and her comments I believe she will have a beautiful little boy for her and Jordan to love up

  9. sofia Says:

OMG! is there a video showing her talking to the press saying ‘he’? gosh she is one hot mama! lol

  10. Amanda Says:

I don’t know… I don’t think they’ve been trying to HIDE the sex. I get the feeling they just don’t think they NEED to tell people. It’s like her being pregnant. We all knew… we could see it… but they didn’t feel like they needed to make an announcement. Just my two cents. :-) I do think the baby is a boy.

  11. terri Says:

I agree with Amanda, I don’t think they’re trying to hide anything. They haven’t done anything this whole pregnancy to make me think that they’re trying to throw off the press. They just aren’t interested in making their pregnancy a media story.
