Seeing the last picture and now this one, I have the impression that he is going to be 20 years old and she will still be wearing him in one of those pounch.

I dont think ive ever seen a photo of her touching the baby, he’s always just hanging there in the sling ??!!!
Angela’s note: In the same photo package, there are photos of Keri with her arms around River.

I think he is going to grow in this pouch. I can see a 20 years old man hanging there LOL
Cute and curious face tough.

Amy, she is constantly touching him–maybe not always with her hands, but every picture I’ve seen shows him nestled up close to her body, which is the best place for him to be. When I saw that picture, I thought how nice it was that she is obviously so comfortable with at adept at baby-wearing.

Perhaps he’s getting old (and big) enough to be carried in sling/carrier that would allow him to see more of his world?
Sarah’s note: She’ll be able to carry him on her hip soon when he starts being able to sit up. It’s not particularly safe to hold them upright in a pouch until you’re sure their neck and trunk muscles are developed. I started wearing my little girl I nanny for on my hip when she was around 6 months old.

I agree – he is old enough to be held up right. It’s better for the baby; they learn how to hold their head up!
She does look great though! I am jealous of that!!!

I wore my babies constantly as well, and started the hip carry when they were 3-4 month old, they had great muscle control. But nobody cared about my lovelies except me and people weren’t trying to photograph and possible touch/crowd us when we were running errands. Perhaps she feels safest with her little one nestled inside while quickly running around and dealing with nosey photographers. There is no better place for that one that right where he is! Beautiful mom and baby!

He looks content where he is now. He can see the world pretty good…River has no problem seeing the photographer in this picture

I think his neck and trunk muscles should be developed enough at 5 months to get a different sling/carrier.

She looks gorgeous. She is prettier than Angelina, IMO.
